Boardmasters, a fun-loving festival with 11 stages set across two of Newquay’s best beaches, is one of Cornwall’s most unmissable summer events. Check out music performances and DJ sets by night after watching pro surfers compete on world-class waves by day. The festival also plays host to skate contests, immersive workshops and the UK’s largest silent disco.
As for where to stay, there are plenty of campsites near Boardmasters. Choose from smart glamping accommodation – think cosy pods and boutique bell tents – or book a holiday park with facilities like on-site swimming pools, games rooms and bars. Other options include pitches on historical country estates, right next to lakes or metres from sweeping sandy beaches.
Many campsites near Boardmasters overlook the Cornish coast’s aquamarine waters – ideal for unwinding with a bottle of Doom Bar ale and a memorable view.
