Liked Views are incredible and the short walk to beaches was perfect! Only stayed one night
Disliked Unfortunately the toilets as they are not working toilets and compost it just wasn’t something we could get passed I’m afraid! But for the price I think you should have running water and flushable toilets with at least some lights so you can see

From the manager: We are an off grid site! So it’s wild and eco all the way :) The lack of any light pollution is almost unique in this area and makes for incredible star gazing. Compost toilets are clearly pointed out in the description so probably best not to book if that’s something you can’t deal with.

Non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked You just cant argue that the view from the tent is by far the best ive had in a campsite. With direct access to the coastpath - which was great for us as we were backpacking on the coastpath - and only a 5 min walk to porthcothan beach it was brilliant. Jeff is always around and so kind and helpful.
Disliked "Basic" is definitely the word to use for the facilities - they are very clean and easy to use, but if you are someone who likes privacy in the loo, showers and basin, I wouldnt stay here! We found it humorous that we had to leave our clothes out in the open while we showered and pass each item over to get dressed, but after a few nights i think it would have got old. There are only 2 sinks with only cold water - fine for washing hands but if you want to wash your face etc it is a little harder. However, this is a pop up campsite and you can't expect luxury so we didnt mind!

Liked Beautiful location, friendly and peaceful
Disliked Disrespectful visitors leaving washroom a mess; leaving sinks with food on and water on the floor. Spoils it for the lovely family run farm, the owners should not be cleaning up after visitors.
