Lovely small campsite in easy reach of Rye. Very friendly and helpful owners.
Loved the fact that there was mobile charging units and also a microwave (not that we used it) and also a great camp shop which even though small had a brilliant selection!

There are 4 showers in total and 3 toilets which doesn't seem that much, however it really is a small campsite so I didn't ever have to wait to use any of the facilities.

    Disliked:

The cockerel! His body clock is obviously confused as he was crowing at all hours of the night!

Spiders - There was one the size of my hand in the toilet!

Second visit to this site as we loved it last year, and this time we took our friends, who also thought it was great. I love the location, walking distance to pub and supermarket only a short drive away. Local take-away places also deliver. Very friendly staff, always made to feel welcome. Short drive from Camber beach which is a lovely place to visit. Overall a great sit and will definitely be visiting again next year.

    Disliked:

The only gripe I had this year, as it was so busy, was the waiting time for the showers/toilet but other than that nothing we disliked.

The family run feel to the camp site was wonderful. They had been inventive with ways to try to make campers stay more enjoyable and stress free, for example the provision of a fridge/freezer, microwave and locked phone charging points.
With another added benefit of being able to rent a wood burner for the week was a family favourite.
The children loved the football goal that had been provided by the campsite owners, they spent many hours playing with friends they had made.
    Would defiantly recommend the site.

    Disliked:

I am bearing in mind the lack of space for more showers/toilets the campsite owners have been inventive with what resources they had. However if you are choosing your campsite based on shower facilities then you may want to re-think this campsite. They are clean, but few and small.

Owners are very kind and friendly. My children had a fantastic time and the football goal was a bit hit with my boys! There was a lovely peaceful atmosphere and the site is in a great location near Camber Sands and Hastings for if you want day trips out. We have booked to go again this week and are really looking forward to it. This really is a lovely site with clean well stocked facilities. It also has a fridge, freezer and a microwave in a nicely maintained undercover kitchen like area where you can wash your dishes, get drinking water and find information on near by walks etc.

Good, clean facilities. Nice little shop on-site (selling broader range of wares than website had led me to believe). Fridge-freezer is a brilliant idea and really nice touch. Microwave was an unexpected bonus.

    Disliked:

Traffic noise was worse than I'd expected, but still didn't bother me too much - Some people might not like it though. The cockerel was not as bad as I'd expected - So you win some / lose some! :)
(Pulling out of the site on to the road is a little bit heart-in-mouth, as it's a 50mph road with restricted visibility to the right - That's not really a fault or complaint of the campsite though: Just the way it is).
