What customers say
This campsite offers numerous activities for families, with guests praising the spacious pitches, friendly staff, and a wide range of amenities. The swimming pool, splash pad, and entertainment are particularly popular. While many recent improvements have been made, some guests noted issues with the cleanliness and availability of toilet and shower facilities, as well as pitch organisation and noise levels during busy periods. The park is undergoing significant development, with ongoing renovations and new facilities being introduced.

Fun, full of great vibes, perfect for families
Shelduck (area 1) electric grass touring pitch
Liked The entertainment for kids is the best i have experienced on any caravan holiday. If you have children then this site is perfect. There is so much for kids to do and the freedom they can have playing on the fields etc is brilliant. We have been coming to billing for years and you can really see the benefits of all the changes this year.
Disliked We had to select our own pitch, it would be easier if we would book pitches that we want up front in advance :0) but dont let this put you off as we found a spot easily on the field we selected.

From the manager: Thank you so much for your fantastic feedback following your recent stay with us at Billing Aquadrome.
It was absolutely brilliant to read your comments about our entertainment and activities for children. We work incredibly hard to create fun-filled family holidays packed with energy, laughter and unforgettable memories, so hearing that it is the best entertainment you have experienced on any caravan holiday truly means the world to us. It is in our nature to create exciting experiences for families, and we are so pleased this shone through during your stay.
I am also delighted to hear how much you enjoyed the freedom the park offers for children to play, explore and enjoy the open spaces safely. Creating that family atmosphere is exactly what Billing is all about.
As returning guests over the years, it is especially lovely to hear that you can really see the positive changes and improvements made around the park this season. Feedback like yours gives the whole team a huge boost.
Thank you as well for your comments regarding pitch selection. I completely understand how being able to pre-book a specific pitch in advance could make the booking process even easier, and I will certainly pass this feedback on for review.
Thank you once again for your continued support and lovely comments. We cannot wait to welcome you and your family back again for more adventures at Billing Aquadrome soon.

Liked customer service to sort problem
Disliked electrical failing at hook-up, pricey restaurant and bar, uneven camping pitch, strong smell of weed, too noisy and busy for us oldies.

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback following your recent stay with us.
Firstly, I am pleased to hear that our team were able to assist and provide good customer service when resolving the issue you experienced. It is in our nature to listen, support and always look at how we can do better for our guests.
That being said, I am very sorry to hear about the issues you encountered during your stay, particularly with the electric hook-up. I completely understand how frustrating it must have been spending time trying to work out the issue, only to later discover there was a known fault with the pitch. Your comments have been noted and shared with the relevant team.
I am also sorry to hear that the atmosphere of the park was not quite what you had hoped for. Billing Aquadrome is a lively family-focused park with lots on offer for families and younger guests, especially during busy periods, although I do appreciate this may not suit everyone looking for a quieter and more tranquil break.
We do also offer holidays during quieter periods of the season, and our midweek breaks are often at a much slower and calmer pace, which may be more suited for guests looking for a more relaxing stay.
Thank you once again for your honest feedback as this really does help us review and improve the overall guest experience moving forward.
Will not be going back

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback following your recent stay with us.
I am very sorry to hear that your experience did not meet expectations and that you chose to leave early.
I appreciate your comments regarding the touring field layout, pitch allocation, and the overall atmosphere around the park during your stay. Billing Aquadrome is a very lively and family-focused holiday park, especially during peak periods, although I do understand this may not suit every guest looking for a quieter break away.
I am also sorry to hear your concerns regarding children within the toilet blocks. We always encourage adults to supervise their children at all times to ensure all guests can enjoy the facilities comfortably and safely.
Thank you as well for your comments regarding the restaurant and food pricing, as all guest feedback helps us continue to review and improve the overall holiday experience we provide.
We do appreciate you taking the time to share your honest feedback with us.

From the manager: Thank you so much for your lovely feedback!
We are delighted to hear the children had plenty to keep them busy that’s exactly what holidays are all about! From adventure-filled activities to making new friends and creating lasting memories, we love seeing families enjoying everything the park has to offer.
We’re also really pleased to hear you found the amenities clean and well looked after. Our teams work incredibly hard behind the scenes to keep everything looking its best for our holiday guests.
It’s in our nature to create fun-filled family holidays, and we’re so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us.
We hope to welcome you back again very soon for even more holiday adventures!
Facilities great and staff friendly…
Shelduck (area 2) electric grass touring pitch
Liked Facilities great and staff friendly
Disliked No one sticks to allocated pitches. On arrival you find yours taken and are told to ‘just choose another’ very annoying especially when you have requested a specific pitch or locality close to that pitch and been given one on your booking, but end up totally somewhere else. Touring wardens need to be more vigilant.

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback
We are really pleased to hear you found the facilities great and our team members friendly that’s always lovely to hear and something we are very proud of.
We are sorry to hear your comments regarding pitch allocation. It’s in our nature to work hard to ensure all arrivals run as smoothly and fairly as possible. We do allocate pitches in advance to help manage busy arrivals and guest preferences, however on very busy occasions changes can sometimes be made on arrival depending on operational requirements and availability on the touring fields.
We can never guarantee to place guests on a specific pitch or to be close to friends and family, although our Touring teams always do their very best to accommodate requests wherever possible.
We completely understand how frustrating this can feel when you have requested a specific pitch or location, and we are sorry that this impacted your experience. Your feedback regarding vigilance on the touring fields will also be shared with the relevant teams for review.

Great site, but not when booking via 3rd party
Shelduck (area 2) electric grass touring pitch
Liked Overall cleanliness, quality of buildings and site, quiet after 10pm, reasonable quality and cost of food and drink. Easy to get to. Entertainment in the evening looked lively and fun. Superb grass spaces!
Disliked 1. Booked on the basis of its published facilities, including on site swimming pool, to be told on arrival it was pre-booked only and had been sold out for weeks. Wouldn’t have stayed had we known this. 2. Check in wasn’t smooth - couldn’t find our booking, then didn’t capture campervan registration so couldn’t get back on to site after 8pm without having to call security (which were helpful but shouldn’t have been needed). Both of these were andhame, but likely happened as booked via 3rd party on pitch up (which is normally excellent!) otherwise we are sure that would have all been fine if had booked using their own website.

From the manager: Thank you so much for your feedback
It’s really lovely to hear how much you enjoyed the park overall, especially the peaceful atmosphere in the evenings, the green open spaces, and the entertainment. We are very lucky to have such a spacious park for families and guests to relax, explore, and enjoy. It’s also great to hear you found the food and drink good value for money too.
We are however really sorry to hear about your disappointment regarding the swimming pool. We completely understand why this was frustrating, especially as it was one of the reasons you chose to stay with us. Our swimming sessions do become very popular during busy periods and can be booked 2 weeks in advance, which we do try to communicate across our website, booking communications, and social media platforms to help guests avoid disappointment.
We are also sorry your arrival was not as smooth as it should have been, while we are pleased our Security team were able to help you when returning to the park, we completely understand this added unnecessary stress to the start of your stay. We do have to ensure we know who is on our park at all times, especially when it comes to vehicle registration for security and safety reasons. Although we do apologise that your vehicle registration was not initially captured correctly, we are also reassured that our system is working as intended and our team were able to support you at the time to resolve this quickly.
Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback with us and we do hope you may consider visiting us again in the future
Lots for the kids to do..…
Shelduck (area 2) electric gravel and hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Lots for the kids to do.. aqua park on the lake was good and the pump track was a hit
Disliked Kids riding electric bikes around the touring fields with no thought for cars driving around. They should be banned as I nearly hit one kid flying around a corner on the road. Also the odd idiot using the touring field as his own drifting space

We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations.
During Bank Holiday periods the park can be extremely busy, with thousands of holiday guests and families enjoying the facilities, activities, entertainment, and outdoor spaces. Whilst many guests enjoy the lively atmosphere, we understand that this may not be the experience everyone is looking for.
We are disappointed to hear of the difficulties you experienced on arrival regarding your pitch. Our teams work hard to assist touring guests and we appreciate that this did not get your holiday off to the start you would have hoped for.
We would also like to clarify that activities, venues, and facilities remained open throughout the Bank Holiday weekend, although some areas naturally experienced higher demand due to the volume of guests on park.
Just some of the activities on offer
Swimming
Axe throwing
Park train
Summer Cyclone
Splash park
Foam party
Silent Disco
Tribe den
and these are just the free activities there are many more to take part in
It’s in our nature to listen to feedback and continually look for ways to improve the holiday guest experience. We are sorry that on this occasion we did not provide the holiday you were expecting and appreciate you taking the time to share your comments with us.

Disliked Arrived Monday 25th May
No-one was on the gate to tell us our pitch number. I called the number to be told my pitch number. Drove down to my pitch number which was hard as loads if children running around. Pitch was taken so I called back and the person told me no one was available to help and she would get someone to call me tomorrow.
I then drove back to the gate where this person said oh just take any pitch
Driving around what appears to be a playground trying to find a slot. Found a pitch to be told by the campers behind you cant stop their the hook doesnt work
2 hours of driving over bumpy ground in and out of kids kicking footballs wr had to park on the end. The lady camper said we could have her pitch as she was leaving in the morning.
Very disorganised and unsafe with no directions and driving a large camper between children trying to find a pitch
Spoke to lots of people on the site they said they had also had lots of.problems.showers in shelduck 2 are freezing
Shop very understocked
The venue pub for food was dirty and sticky even the door handles were sticky
The lakeside bar on the 3rd day whilst waiting in the heat for son to do activities couldn't serve drinks as payment machines weren't working but no water stations anywhere
Left that evening even tho I booked for a week
Such a shame because the activities seemed very well organised just everything else was a let down
Seemed to be ran by young people that didnt seem to be too bothered about campers

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback.
Firstly, I would like to apologise as there should have been a team member available to assist you on arrival, and certainly not for you to be told that somebody would contact you the following day. This is not the level of service we aim to provide and we are looking into this matter as a priority.
It’s in our nature to want every holiday guest to have a smooth and enjoyable arrival experience, so we are sorry to hear this was not the case for you. We completely understand how frustrating it must have been trying to locate a suitable pitch after a long journey.
We are pleased to hear you found the activities well organised, as our teams work incredibly hard to create memorable experiences for families visiting the park.
In relation to the park shop, due to the exceptionally busy Bank Holiday period, some stock levels became lower than we would have liked. As soon as our teams were able to do so, stock was replenished and deliveries were arranged.
Our venues are regularly cleaned and maintained by our park teams. During particularly busy periods, the focus can sometimes be on serving and looking after large numbers of holiday guests, but as soon as things begin to settle, the teams are straight back to ensuring the venues are clean, tidy, and welcoming. We are sorry to hear you found some areas below the standards we expect.
We are fortunate to have some fantastic, hardworking, and caring team members across the park, so it is disappointing to hear that you felt some members of the team were not as helpful as they could have been.
Thank you again for your feedback. We do hope you may consider returning in the future and allowing us the opportunity to provide the holiday experience we would have wanted you to receive on this occasion.
Great site with so many things to do.
Shelduck (area 3) electric gravel and hardstanding touring pitch
Liked The friendly staff and all the activities
Disliked The allocation of the pitches didn’t work and for the size of the place it probably would work better just letting Campers choose their own pitch which is what was happening anyway. Why waste time and effort allocating when the system doesn’t work!
Recommend to friends Visit again
From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback
We are really pleased to hear you enjoyed the friendliness of our team members and the wide range of activities on offer it’s always great to know these are being enjoyed by our holiday guests. We have an abundance of activities on park for everyone to enjoy, and so many are completely free such as
swimming,
park train,
axe throwing,
and the summer cyclone, to name just a few!
We are sorry to hear your comments regarding the pitch allocation. It’s in our nature to work hard to ensure all arrivals run as smoothly as possible, and we are currently trialling a new system to support this. However, we are sorry that on this occasion it did not work as well as expected for you.
We completely understand your frustration and appreciate your honest feedback. While pitch allocation systems are in place to help manage busy arrivals and ensure fairness and organisation across the park, we are always reviewing and improving our processes based on real guest experiences like yours.
