Likte We had a great time. The cyclone activity that was on all afternoon was awesome and for FREE!! Evening entertainment was entertaining and had foam party. Facilities were good.

Likte ikke The bar/restaurant. Takes ages to get served and ordered food and waiting an hour to be told the food wasn’t coming and had shut food orders for a while. Everyone was starving. That’s the only part I say needs improvement.

Likte There isn’t much i can write as a positive. We booked billing Aquadrome as an over night stop to break up a long journey and had we not been travelling for over 10 hours we would have turned around and left

Likte ikke We were held at the check in booth for 25 minutes whilst staff tried to find our booking. Eventually with pitch details in hand we were waved off in a general direction only to find our super pitch occupied. After a trip back to check in we were told to pitch anywhere. All the serviced pitches were occupied. So we ended up on a basic pitch as this was the only pitch free.
I was told that when people don’t like the pitch they have been allocated they move where ever they want and there’s not a lot they can do about it when they refuse to move

We’re sorry to hear that your stay wasn’t quite the experience you were hoping for. Our parks are all about families, fresh air and making memories which means there can sometimes be plenty of energy around the park (and the occasional enthusiastic cyclist zooming past!).

We appreciate your comments about bikes, rubbish and dogs. It can be frustrating when guests don’t make use of the many litter bins available around the park, as keeping our shared spaces clean is something we all play a part in. We also love welcoming our furry friends to the park after all, they’re part of the family too and we ask all dog owners to help us keep the park enjoyable for everyone.

Creating a fun, welcoming environment for families, friends and four-legged companions is what it’s in our nature to do, and our teams will continue to work hard to maintain a great environment for all guests to enjoy.

Likte We stayed on pitch A33 which was right by the shower block. We took our frenchie and dogs are welcome everywhere on site which made it easier for us to do stuff the toilets were clean enough and there is plenty of activities to do on site.

Likte ikke The ground our pitch was on was awful it was made up of gravel, dust and rocks there was a trench that had been filled but it went directly across our pitch and under our tent this made it uneven inside and even with the carpet down there were some big rocks under there so every now and then you would stand on one and it’s like standing on a plug or Lego!! I had to go buy some different tent pegs because the ground was that hard all the ones I had bent. We only stayed for 2 nights so we put up with it but if I was there longer I probably would of asked to move or went home

We’re sorry to hear you found the ground conditions on your pitch challenging. We have been experiencing some very hot weather recently, which has made the ground extremely hard and dry. Unfortunately, this is one of those occasions where Mother Nature likes to remind us who is really in charge!

Our teams do their best to maintain and prepare pitches, but during prolonged periods of heat and dry conditions, the ground can become much firmer and more difficult for tent pegs. We appreciate you sharing your experience, and we’ll pass your comments on to the relevant teams.

Likte There are quite a few things to like at Billing Aquadrome but unfortunately outweighed by the negatives.

The pitches were quite spacious, the water points were frequent, as were the bins.

There was a lot to do that was free if you were staying there (disk golf, pump track, several parks, swimming) and the things that aren't free are quite reasonably priced (£23 for the floating obstacle course for 1 hour).

Likte ikke The place was not clean. There was litter everywhere. Cans of beer, fag ends, cans of monster floating in the lake.

The pool was shut the day we had booked on for.

The toilets were never clean in the Shellduck area we were pitched, one day I went in and one was overflowing and from the remaining 5, only one had toilet paper. There was also broken stuff all over the place, broken mirrors, broken locks on a lot of the toilets/showers, broken vending machine etc...

It's also absolutely rammed full of really rough people (I know this isn't the fault of the site but it impacted our stay). I don't have anything against anyone so I'll explain what I mean here, there were loads of kids (and adults, embarrassingly) bombing around on electric schooters, electric bikes etc in really unsafe ways and no one was doing anything about this. There was a guy who must have been about 40 who just kept doing laps around our pitch area on a little monkey bike with his knees near his head. It was pretty funny to be fair but not enjoyable.

There's also a lot of dogs. Not a problem either but they also don't do anything about the dogs barking none stop.

It also seemed like they've tried to put a lot of stuff on one site without much thought to where these things will go, it was all very disjointed, the circus was right at the back of the site, the zip line just went over a field, it could have been way more exciting if they'd put things in better places.

We visited Milton Keynes and Northampton a couple of times. I wouldn't bother. Milton Keynes has signs saying it's going for city of culture 2029. I can only assume they're planning to raze the place and start again. That's to say I didn't think much to the location.

A holiday should involve relaxing, exploring and making memories… not a mission to find the last surviving toilet roll or dodge a surprise obstacle course of litter! We’re also sorry that the pool was closed during your visit. We completely understand that when you’ve planned your day around a splash in the pool, finding it unavailable is disappointing. The closure was due to a health and safety concern, which our teams acted on quickly to investigate, resolve, and ensure the facility was safe for our guests to enjoy again.

Thank you for your feedback regarding safety concerns around scooters, bikes, and guest behaviour. We want everyone to enjoy the park while keeping it a safe and enjoyable environment for all, and we’ll share your comments with the team.

We also appreciate your thoughts on the layout of the park and activities. We’re always looking at ways to improve the guest experience even if we can’t promise to rearrange the entire park overnight with a giant game of holiday park Tetris!

Likte The only plus is people seemed to be enjoying themselves, which was lovely to see.

Likte ikke Toilet/showers poorly designed. Instead of being separate they are combined (a toilet + shower to a cubicle) meaning people queuing - there were several small children desperately needing the toilet when people were taking showers. Water from the showers pooled in the toilet area - yuk - you ended up standing in centimetres of water trying to keep clothing from touching it. No hooks.
Dishwashing area not kept clean (by campers).
Scarce water points.

Likte The glamping pod had everything we needed, it looks very cute,it was cosy, the ensuite is always handy, we had hot water all the time, show shower is big so can have a comfortable shower, have space to love around. The kitchen sink and fridge is soo helpful. This was the first time we had TV and it had WiFi, so we could use Netflix to watch something at tonight time. The pod was clean and never the less the little decking behind our pod was just amazing, we had breakfast there with our blanket or sometimes we brought the furnitures out to be a bit more comfortable.

Likte ikke The only one thing I could point out no towels provided,which is only a little thing. We travelled by train so I have limited space for a 4 days glamping, so can't really pack 6 towels that would take up lots of space, however I'm sure almost everyone drives and they can bring their own towels have space in the car, it's just a little thing for me who travels by train, but it's only a little thing to mention.
