Positiv Great for riding bikes with a new rider. Clean site, great pump track. Entertainers and staff were kind.
Changed my booking for free because of high winds being dangerous to tow so I’m very grateful!

Negativ Everything closed very early or didn’t open. Maybe because it was a Sunday but I didn’t expect it.

Our park teams work super hard to keep everything spotless and are always up for a chat, a laugh, or to lend a helping hand they’re some of the best around!

During quieter, out-of-peak times, a few facilities may close a little earlier and there might be fewer activities running. If you fancy a busier vibe next time, we’d recommend booking during peak season when the park is buzzing with things to do and loads of fun to be had!

You may like to come and try us out during an off-peak period, when there are fewer holiday guests and less activities and entertainment taking place. This may suit you better, and we’d love the chance to welcome you back.

Positiv Lots to do for kids, plenty to choose from.

Negativ There was dog droppings everywhere, it’s was really unpleasant. We had to throw away our awning floor as it was everywhere plus a place when you empty waste water was blocked.

As for the dog mess, our park is home to a lot of wonderful wildlife from our many birds to the mischievous Mr Fox so it could well have been one of them leaving their mess behind! That said, we’ve placed plenty of dog bins around the park and always encourage all dog owners to be responsible and clear up after their pets. My apologies that this affected your stay.

On a brighter note, we’re so glad you enjoyed how much there is to do here. Our park is bursting with activities, facilities, and a fun-packed entertainment programme for all ages something we’re really proud of and always working hard to deliver.

Positiv The pitch

Negativ The toilet block. The toilet/shower block is a glass door! Which cannot be locked. The 4 shower cubicles can be looked over at the bottom and the top which is very disturbing. Anyone could walk into those blocks and look under or over at the person showering. I have never stayed somewhere before that is ok with this. Each cubicle should be self contained. As a result I didn't shower for two days. This needs to be addressed before I would consider staying on this site again. Plus the toilets were filthy each morning.

We’ve taken your comments on board and have relooked at the way we welcome our touring guests. We’ve now removed pitch numbers so everyone is guided to the area rather than a specific pitch, making arrivals much smoother.

We also love welcoming your furry friends, as they’re such an important part of the family. They’re welcome in our venues, arcades, outside areas and don’t forget the Tough Mutter! So much fun for everyone to enjoy together.

Positiv The staff were the best thing there.

Negativ The site was very dirty. All closed and no restaurants open. One food kitchen was open till 6pm. There was geese mess everywhere and the aqua park on the lake was in a terrible mess from bird mess.

I’m sorry you found parts of the park to be dirty our teams are always busy ensuring the park is clean and tidy, and the extra bins will also help with this.

When the park is quieter, we may limit the opening times of some venues and eateries, as they are not needed for as long when demand is lower. We are incredibly fortunate to be set in stunning surroundings with Mother Nature all around us. With this comes our cheeky wildlife, including many birds, which can sometimes cause mess. While this may be inconvenient at times, we celebrate it as it shows the freedom and natural beauty of the wildlife that shares our park.

The staff I spoke with were helpful.
I didn't use any of the activities but there appear to be a lot to do.

Negativ Seems to be a popular place to smoke weed. The smell of it is never far away when you have a walk round.

We do hold a zero-tolerance policy on drugs, and our teams will challenge this if seen. Our touring teams are working incredibly hard to ensure the pitches are clean and tidy, along with the shower blocks. It’s in our nature to always look to improve, and we’ve recently changed the arrival process for our touring guests, so we’re glad it seems to be working better.

Positiv Billing Aquadrome is highly recommended.

The facilities are clean and the staff are friendly. The surroundings are attractive too with the marina and plenty of greenery.

There is a good choice of restaurants and a proper bar with a view of the marina.
