No em va agradar Caravan gravel pitches are way too close together, very loud neighbours of the travelling descend. Seems to be a popular place for them as we’re in a group. Dirty, smelly toilets and showers - very little staff presence. Lots of litter, bins hardly emptied. Without wanting to sound snobby it’s the type of site that attracts a certain crowd, we wouldn’t recommend or be visiting again

Em va agradar Huge pitch sizes and spaces between, especially on Shelduck 5 which was quieter and away from the main facilities.
Lovely walks around the site with lakes and rivers and wildlife.

No em va agradar Not having anywhere secure to leave valuables at the swimming pool as all the locks on the lockers were broken. Shelves were provided to leave bags poolside, but you couldn't really relax and enjoy your swim as you were constantly wondering if someone would walk off with car keys or phone!

Em va agradar Big site, quiet at night though we stayed Monday to Thursday so dont know what its like on weekends.
Lots of activities onsite and bars, swimming pool. A lot for kids to do!
We saw swans and geese which was lovely!

No em va agradar Sadly we weren't impressed by the facilities. We were in the touring field and the toilets near us (in brown buildings, wet room layout) were often left in a state where we couldn't use them. At night the toilets were blocked and overflowing and water was all over the floor, either from the shower or the toilet.
The bigger toilet block was better, though in the ladies many stalls didn't have toilet paper and most of the soap dispensers were empty. My Dad said the men's were very dirty and left in a poor state.
I couldn't find anywhere to recycle, there just seemed to be general waste bins in the touring field. I'm not sure whether there was recycling bins anywhere else on site so I took mine home.

It’s lovely to hear that you enjoyed the size of the park, the peaceful atmosphere during your stay, and the variety of activities and facilities available for families. I am sorry to hear your concerns regarding the toilet and shower facilities in the touring area. Our toilet and shower blocks are manned by our park teams throughout the day and into the late evening, so it is very frustrating for us to hear that you found them in a condition that was not acceptable.

This is not the experience we want our guests to have. Our teams work hard to maintain these facilities and follow strict cleaning processes and checks. Unfortunately, we can sometimes find that facilities are left in a poor state by some guests, which can quickly impact the experience for others. We completely understand how disappointing this must be when you are looking to use the facilities during your stay.

We have also noted your comments regarding toilet paper, soap dispensers, and recycling facilities, and we have shared this feedback with the park team for review.

We would always encourage guests to let a member of the team know while on park if something is not as it should be, as this gives us the opportunity to investigate and put things right as quickly as possible.

It’s great to hear that you have noticed the improvements at the park since the previous owners and that your children enjoyed the bike track.

Our pump track was designed with Silverstone race track in mind and has become a really popular facility with our guests. We always advise that children are supervised by an adult while using our facilities to help ensure everyone can enjoy them safely.

We work hard to keep our prices as competitive as possible while continuing to invest in the park, improve facilities, and provide great experiences for our guests. I’m sorry to hear that you were unable to get a swimming slot during your visit. Activities such as swimming do need to be booked in advance through our activities booking link, and our guests can book activities up to 2 weeks before arrival. We are sorry that you were unable to secure a session this time.

From the picture you have provided, it looks like a couple of guests may have entered the facilities with dirty footwear while the floor was still wet. As you can imagine, this can quickly cause the floor to appear dirty, especially in a busy facility used by many guests throughout the day.

Our park teams work tirelessly to ensure our facilities are kept clean and presentable for all our holiday guests. They follow strict cleaning processes and carry out regular checks throughout the day. I am sure as soon as our team had spotted this dirty floor they would have attended and cleaned the area straight away.

We always encourage our guests to let a member of the team know while on park if something is not as it should be, as this gives us the opportunity to investigate and resolve any issues straight away.

We’re pleased to hear the campsite was OK, although we’re sorry some parts of your stay didn’t quite meet expectations. We know a holiday should be full of fun memories not unexpected encounters with muddy floors or a little extra “bird confetti” along the way!

We’re very lucky to have such an amazing park surrounded by wildlife, and we love celebrating the nature that shares the space with us. Our feathered visitors are very much part of what makes our park special, although we understand that keeping areas clean and enjoyable for guests is important too.

Our teams work hard to keep the facilities clean and welcoming, but during our busiest periods they do get very well used. We’ll share your comments regarding the toilets, showers, and water activities with the relevant teams.

No em va agradar Dirty, the toilets where full of water and mud , some toilets did not even flush and were blocked..not good on a night when there is a big cue to wait for the toilets. Also what toilets do not provide basic hand hygiene hand soap wouldn't go a miss but clearly billing aqua dome feel that washing hands with water is enough.
Duck/ geese poo every where. The slip and slide smelt like sewage would not be surprised if kids are ill after a weekend here.
Also another thing in regards to the toilet was the security kept trying to open the door on my children when going to the toilet even though he saw them going in. Don't think I would return here

We're sorry to hear your stay wasn't quite the experience you were hoping for. We know nobody wants a holiday adventure to include muddy shoes, blocked toilets, or unexpected puddles where they shouldn’t be!

Our teams work incredibly hard to keep our facilities clean, tidy, and welcoming throughout the day. We do appreciate that during our busiest periods our facilities are used by a high number of guests, and unfortunately, some guests do not always treat the facilities with the care and respect they should. This is just as frustrating for us, as our teams put a lot of pride into maintaining the park.
