What customers say
This is a popular, well-maintained site with stunning sea views and direct access to coastal paths. Facilities, including toilets, showers, and a swimming pool, are generally praised for cleanliness. On-site amenities like the fish and chip shop and supermarket are popular. Families highlight the excellent play park and entertainment. While many enjoy the friendly atmosphere and convenient location for exploring, some note it can be busy and noisy during peak times, with occasional issues regarding facility cleanliness and Wi-Fi availability.

Liked Very nice site, pity no beach access, long walk to cayton
Disliked Kids both balls next to motorhomes, could do with another field wifi a bit rubbish

From the manager: Thank you for your positive review. We’re glad you enjoyed our site and appreciate your understanding that there’s no direct beach access and the walk to Cayton is a bit longer. I’m sorry if children playing ball near motorhomes was disruptive; we’ll look at ways to provide additional space for games away from pitches. We’ll also continue working on improving our wi‑fi service. Thank you again for your feedback, and we look forward to welcoming you back soon.

Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch (overflow)
Liked Huge camping field, great playpark, sea views. Pool is fun for little kids. Fish and Chip shop on site is really good.
Disliked Toilet and shower block are in need of refurb.
No facilities or lighting in the lower field - a car crashed into one of the raised drains in the darkness.

From the manager: Thank you for your feedback. We’re pleased you enjoyed the large camping field, play park, sea views, pool and fish and chips. The overflow field does not have lighting, however the car that crashed did. We’ll pass on your comments regarding the toilet and shower block to our team.

Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch (overflow)
Liked Convenient location, bus stops outside of campsite. On site facilities such as bar, shop, fish and chips, entertainments and ablutions. There’s probably much more to list but those were the ones we used. Campsite was nice and quiet, plenty of space! Staff was very friendly at reception and behind the bar. Check in and out times are great!
Disliked Toilet/shower block could do with a refresh. Rusty drain covers, tiles falling off and hand dryers aren’t very good.

Worth every penny for a superb week with family. Kids loved it
Superior 2 bedroom static caravan (no pets)
Liked Almost everything. Fantastic caravan well laid out & clean . Great site spread out on a rising slope which afforded brilliant views. Toilet n showers plentiful & clean . This was a family holiday and we all LOVED it. Kids gave the pool 10/10. I would recommend this to anyone
Disliked Not a scrap of loo roll in the caravan luckily I had pre-empted this. If you're in a caravan take EVERYTHING you will need. There seemed to be a plague of flies too but would not blame anyone for that. To be fair hardly any complaints

From the manager: Thank you for your wonderful feedback. We’re so pleased you enjoyed the caravan, facilities, views and pool, and that your family had such a great time. We appreciate your recommendation and hope to see you again.
First time stopping. Very nice place+lovely views. Would stop again
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked The view.
Clean toilets/showers
Drink prices at the bar
Disliked No path walk down to the beach (apart from a manmade path down the side of the slope which isn’t for the faint hearted and very steep)

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and for choosing to stay with us. We're thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the lovely views, our clean toilets and showers, and the drinks prices at the bar. We appreciate your feedback about the steep path to the beach. Our site is situated on a clifftop, so the access can be challenging, and due to the landscape, options for gentler pathways are limited. We hope the beautiful scenery makes the effort worthwhile. We're delighted that you would stop again and look forward to welcoming you back soon.
Great campsite. We will be back 🤩
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Great campsite. We stayed for 5 nights and absolutely loved it. We pitched up on the cliff edge looking out to sea and survived storm Floris. What an adventure. Fish n chips were cracking too.
Disliked Cant fault it really. There's everything there you been for a nice little break away

From the manager: Thank you, Rosalind, for your lovely feedback. We’re thrilled you and your family enjoyed your stay, the cliff edge views, and our fish and chips. We look forward to welcoming you back.
