As you mention, some facilities have reduced opening towards the end of the season on the Sunday of your stay, but we are glad you still had a very good stay.

A aimé I really enjoyed staying here the view was incredible on a night and during the day, the facilities were always well cleaned and there was plenty of them. Staff were all friendly when interacted with them, this was my first time camping I really enjoyed it.

A aimé It was a great site, with everything you needed & in the perfect place. Right on the sea, although we went for camping & ended up in a caravan it was a great stay. The staff was really helpful & due to the wind making it extremely difficult for us to pitch our tent, they found us a caravan no problem dog friendly also.

A aimé The views were great, and there was a lovely park for the kids.

N'a pas aimé We were situated on the top and the lighting was terrible, none from where our caravan was to the toilets. Toilets were unkempt and sanitary bins were absolutely disgusting and full to the brim and I tried several of the Toilets throughout our stay.

No hose to wash the caravan waste which ive never know on any other site.

Bought a crate of small cans from the shop and didn't realise till afterwards they were £17 for 10 small cans. I expect to pay a little more but thats extreme 😕

Never seen any staff around the site to speak to about any issues and we were up and out before office was open.

Our office was open from 9am to 6pm throughout the weekend, including answering telephone calls, so staff were available to discuss any concerns. We are sorry the site did not meet your expectations.

Receptionist really helpful, opened the shop for us to purchase items we required

N'a pas aimé The website states all shops/pub etc open until Sept 29th. However it doesn't state Only Fri & Sat! Not good if you are there mid week!
Secure Dog Area full of piles of Dog Muck!! Not site owners but none had been picked up in the 3 days we were there!
Toilets & Shower Blocks in need of updating as even though they had been cleaned they looked dirty due to wear marks and the showers are years old!
For the price of the pitch overall poor :-(

We are sorry to hear you felt so negatively about your stay, although we do need to put a few points into context.

This was a September weekend. While the touring pitches were full, the park as a whole was only around 50% occupied. If the site felt overcrowded to you at that level, then Crows Nest may simply not be the right type of park for what you are looking for.

Our touring pitches are shown clearly in the photographs before booking, including their size, layout and proximity to neighbouring pitches, so there should be no surprises on arrival.

You have also described the site as noisy, but we received no noise complaints at all over the weekend. Had there been a specific disturbance, we would have expected it to be reported at the time so that we could investigate and deal with it.

The toilet and shower facilities are cleaned and checked regularly, and we are sorry if they were not as you expected when you used them.

We appreciate that not every park will suit every guest, but an overall score of 1 out of 10 for a site operating at around half capacity, with no reported noise issues and pitches presented as advertised, does feel extremely harsh.

A aimé Site clean, friendly in distance of good walks with the dogs, only problem is can’t have a much deserved pint after the walk as no dogs allowed inside pub 🤔

We are pleased to hear you found the site clean and friendly, and that the location worked well for good walks with your dogs.

With regards to the bar, we do not allow dogs inside. While we appreciate many guests have dogs and enjoy bringing them on holiday, not everyone likes dogs or feels comfortable around them in indoor spaces.

Dogs can also get in the way in a busy bar environment, and not all dogs will sit quietly while people are drinking or moving around. For that reason, we feel the current policy is the fairest option for all guests. Dogs are allowed in the conservatory.

A aimé Fabulous spot for tent camping and motor homes right up on the cliff top with access directly onto the Cleveland away. Fantastic huge central heated shower block. Short walk to the bus stop near the entrance to the site for transit to Filey, Bridlington and Scarborough.
