Meadows electric grass touring pitch
Liked Very open, large pitch on Meadow field for an excellent price. Bus stop conveniently right outside on main road to enable you get to many other places. Staff were helpful and friendly at reception.
Disliked Toilet blocks could do with up grading and there seems to be a lot of porta cabin type buildings which would benefit from something which looks more permanent. It's annoying when you have to be off pitch by 10am yet you can't get on until 2pm. 4 hours vacant with no cleaning or maintenance to carry out - why?

Electric grass pitch
Liked Spacious site even though it was a very busy weekend as there was a rugby tournament on and a huge regatta on the lake. Lovely area with plenty to do for kids.
Disliked Showers were cold, signage to the site and allocated pitch could have been better. Shop was not very big and lacked variety of goods for such a large site.

Electric grass pitch (riverside)
Liked Everything! Fabulously clean and well cared for site, with good sized pitches. Toilets, showers, laundry and washing up area all great. Added bonus of a free to use mini observatory dome complete with chairs, beanbags and central telescopic for you explore the night sky. Very, very peaceful with 30 - 40 minute walk into the lovely Prestiegn which has very old buildings, is full of history and has all the shops pubs and cafes you need. We stayed an extra night as the price was so cheap (reduced offer booked through Pitchup) and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Excellent WiFi at our pitch, we could even stream a film on Netflix without any buffering.

From the manager: Thank you for the amazing review, we are so glad that you enjoyed your time with us here. What amazing photos. We have a great team here who look after the park and the facilities and do a great job. Its nice to hear you got change to use our stargazing dome, as we are in a dark skies community and you do get to see some amazing sights at night. We did upgrade our wi fi on park too last year so we are glad to hear that it works how we expected it to. Look forward to seeing you again soon at Rockbridge.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch (super)
Liked Beautifully clean and well kept site. Great toilet and shower block - everything very well organised e.g. recycling, check in. Very reasonable price for pitch including electricity.
Disliked You definitely need a car as the site is very much away from shops and pubs etc. I did not see a bus stop nearby which would have been very useful. This is obviously not the fault of the site and I would definitely return.

Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Loads of space to pitch wherever you want to. Very open fields surround you so nice walks but we only stayed one night so didn't go walking. Lovely large pub a 5 min walk away.
Disliked The two toilets n̈ext to us had no water in the tap so you couldn't wash your hands in there. At the back of this block there were pot washing up sinks with water but it was freezing cold! Never saw any staff and unclear where you might find them.

Electric optional gravel and hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Well laid out quiet site, lovely toilet and shower blocks. Good selection of accommodation or bring your own!
Disliked On site bar only opens Thur, Fri, Sat, Sun. There were no instructions on how to use the washers and dryers for which you needed cash to operate them. I asked a member of staff if she could help but she said she wasn't sure how they worked !
You also needed cash to pay for swimming (rather pricey) if it is not included with your accommodation. It could all do with bringing up to speed and enabling you to pay with your card

Liked Lots of space, good sized gravel pitches and a very peaceful spacious site. Great toilets and shower - they have nearly finished building more). Lovely walk next to single rail track into Cearnarfon- about 20 to 30 mins depending on how fast you walk.
Disliked Nothing to dislike

Electric optional hardstanding motorhome pitch
Liked Lovely welcome. A great, modern site with excellent toilet and shower block which also has pot washing, dryer and washing machine. Attractive yet cosy modern bistro/cafe/bar with indoor and outdoor seating. We would gladly stay here again should our campervan pass that way!

Non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Lovely views with a pleasant walk through woodland and the old railway line to Broughton village. Well kept working farm with roaming animals (escaping pig!) Who visited us at our campervan. Host very friendly and we had the choice of 3 different areas to pitch on.
Disliked Toilet/shower block could do with a revamp.

Field non-electric grass campervan or tent pitch
Liked Freedom to park where we liked in the big open field, plenty of room with lovely views of surrounding woodland. Lots of small wooded pull ins where you can park up (pre-booked) which gives a feel of wild camping. A short walk through the wood brings you to a gorgeous large estuary where you can walk for about 30-40 minutes to the George pub for a nice meal.
Disliked Toilets and showers were far away and I felt that there was not enough room for all the activities you would expect to happen in the building, showers, toilets and pot washing.

Glan Conwy, Conwy, Wales
Electric gravel touring pitch
Liked Total peace and quiet on this small site apart from the birds in the surrounding trees. The farmer (owner) stood chatting for half an hour to us, a very friendly man. The pitches are next to a small stream and you look out onto a hillside which is extremely relaxing.
Well situated for a visit to Conwy and Llandudno but you definitely need a car as there is nothing within walking distance like a pub, shop etc. So go well equipped with everything you need.
Disliked No WiFi which may be a bonus for some people, it's only a couple of minutes up the hill to pick up a signal again. Toilets and showers clean and ok but could do with a bit of modernisation.
The way google maps directs you to the site is not for the faint hearted! It's more like a narrow dirt track but we were in a camper van so not too bad. There is a better way into the campsite and it would be very helpful if the owners displayed clear directions to avoid trying to drag caravans and larger motorhomes up the said track to gain entry.

Liked Very peaceful site for one night only.
Disliked No direction as to where reception was and where we should park - just fields. Nice chap answered the door at the farm though and said park wherever.

Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Spotlessly clean, well kept large site, toilets and showers lovely. Particularly liked the free shuttle service to and from New Quay (lovely place). Would love to visit again with my grandson as they have a great club with entertainment and outdoor play area for kids but it was a 4 hour drive for us.
Absolutely worth a visit and one of the best holiday parks on my list!
Disliked No shop on site but one down the road.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked In the same grounds as a beautiful hotel in the countryside. The owners have worked so hard to provide a quality experience. Very clean site, quiet and in the middle of nowhere, if you like it that way. Friendly and helpful staff.
The toilet room decoration was beautiful and tastefully done, however was let down in my opinion (see below).
It would be great if there was a second building which housed a shower and toilet then Male and Female would be separate and queues would become reduced.
All in all we had a pleasant stay and enjoyed it but I probably won't visit again, only because it was too far away from pubs, shops etc. I would recommend this site to my friends and family who want peace and quiet.
Disliked Only one toilet and one shower which is for both Male and Female - I personally really disliked this as there were often queues and the toilet area can have a lot going on due to also having a sink for washing pots, a washing machine and dryer as well as toilet and shower. I think the building which houses all this is too small.
A single port-a-loo was placed at the other end of the field which seemed such a poor contrast to the toilet mentioned above.
