Liked: Wanted a quite getaway in peaceful surrounding for the long bank holiday weekend with my dog. Friend joined us for one night at this quite little site on farm land. The owners were lovely and very attentive checking that things were okay. Lovely little stream beside the plots added to the feeling of tranquillity. Left feeling very relaxed and recharged after a couple of very stressful months. Can't wait to return.

Liked: The site was very basic. In saying that you have everything you needed. Electric, water and an aerial lead for your tv free box. Toilet and shower ( just a warning about the shower, it was extremely hot). We also loved being pitched next to a stream.

Liked: Very clean toilets and showers . Owner very pleasant. Pitches were well kept
Disliked: Felt a bit like we were in a yard . Old toilets and shower , although we’re very clean No views , in the bottom of a valley . All pitches on one side of a road like path . If you don’t have a motor mover or are a bit worried about reversing, it could be a problem , as there is nowhere to turn a full sized caravan . Personally I thought it expensive . Even with electric

Liked: Quiet location. Warm welcome and given helpful information about the area. Shower was hot and strong. Facilities are basic but clean. If you are looking for a quiet spot to just relax and recharge overnight then this site is great. We didn't need EHU but having it saved our battery so was welcome. We only live 90 minutes away and visit the area quite often m, we would definitely use this site again.
Disliked: Nothing. But if you are staying more than a night and like a view then there isn't one. Likewise if you can't manage without WIFi and need facilities like a shop or somewhere to eat within a few minutes distance then this is not the site for you. If like us you want somewhere quiet to just kick back and relax then it is fine.

Liked: On arrival was supported to pitch the tourer. By the owners. I received regular texts from Debbie. No issues however I am certain that if we needed anything they was only a text away. Clean and basic as expected for the price. Great to have water hook up and for a great price. Only a few pitches which is nice not commercialised. Always nice to support small sites like this one. Would stay again if we travel that area again.

Liked: A very peaceful campsite with a lovely stream flowing next to the pitches. Yes the campsite is basic but it is as described. Toilet and shower block kept clean and within easy reach. Owners also came to check all was OK with our pitch.
Disliked: Shower blocks could do with a little updating but it is usable and does the job!

Liked: Everything, the peace and quiet and lack of light pollution. No phone signal or WiFi,so nice to get away from technology .The stream that runs through the site is so therapeutic with the gentle sound of running water.Debbie and Roger(the owners)are great hosts, always welcoming, always helpful, always up for a chat.
