Liked Helpful staff, nice site close to the village and excellent base for visiting the north Northumberland area
Disliked Early refuse collection, we were close to the road and one tree needs cutting back as it overhangs the road
No WiFi for touring site

Great site, safe for solo female camping.
Camping pod
Liked Great location for a base to explore North Northumberland. Safe, friendly site, reception staff really helpful. Beautiful area with the river running through the site. Camping pod was clean and even has a small fridge for keeping your drinks and snacks cool. Loved the resident ducks and rabbits. Would definitely return.
Disliked Camping pod is very close to the edge of the site and main entrance. Noise from the main road in the morning is quite loud.

From the manager: Hi there, thank you for your lovely review! We're so pleased you enjoyed the setting, found the site welcoming, and appreciated the little details in the camping pod—especially the fridge and our feathered and furry neighbours. We’re sorry the morning road noise disrupted the peace a little, and we’ll certainly take that into account for future improvements. We’d love to welcome you back for another stay soon!
