One member of staff was helpful in directing us to a swimming pool 20mins drive away as the site pool was fully booked for all of our stay.

Non mi è piaciuto Pitches were very close together and the facilities were among the worst we have seen.
The showers were mouldy and overflowed into the toilets so you were paddling through other people’s shower water when using the toilet.
The showers were so small it was impossible to keep clothes dry or to help a child to shower.
We stayed for three nights and the pool was fully booked for all of our stay so we couldn’t swim.
We tried to get food at 8pm (they serve until 9) but were told they had run out of everything.
Really disappointing stay. We hoped to have relaxing evenings, swimming and eating on site after a days walking but it was quite the opposite, with such run down facilities, we couldn’t wait to move on.

However, we’re genuinely sorry that so many aspects of your stay fell short of expectations. We appreciate how disappointing it must have been to find the swimming pool fully booked throughout your stay, particularly when swimming was part of your plans. We’re also very concerned by your comments regarding the showers, toilets and general condition of the facilities, as this is certainly not the standard we aim to provide.

We’re equally sorry that you were unable to get food when you visited at 8pm. Running out of menu items while we were still advertising food service is understandably frustrating, and we’ll be reviewing this with the team.

Your comments have been shared with the relevant management team so that the issues you’ve highlighted can be properly addressed. We’re sorry we didn’t provide the relaxing stay you had hoped for, and we appreciate your feedback as it helps us identify where improvements are needed.

Non mi è piaciuto The WiFi. Paid for the 3 day Internet pass but did not receive the voucher code for other devices and it was hit and miss when it worked!

Also arrived at 5.05pm and nobody was in reception, all locked up, had to wait a while to get keys.

Food at the canny owl was quite expensive.

Mi è piaciuto Good size park with plenty of playparks for kids. Nice pub called 'Canny Owl' with playparks for little ones. Well stocked shop.

Non mi è piaciuto Showers were poor, not overly clean and with a 'push button' that only stayed on for 3-4 seconds made showering a bit of a chore. Swimming booked up days in advance. Pitches very close together and tight. Bins frequently full and overflowing.
