Disliked In the middle of nowhere, and dogs not allowed in the only pub/place to eat.

From the manager: Sorry you didn’t enjoy your experience with us at the Welly!! BUT We don’t hide that where we are or that dogs aren’t allowed in the pub!!! That is in our description on pitch up. But we do state that they are more than welcome on site and in our beer garden!!! On the night you stayed we did have dogs in our beer garden because I do remember water bowls being taken to the tables! Liked Location to beach.

Disliked Severe slope on most pitches, ours (pitch 1) was close to toilet and very loud hand blower. Toilet and shower blocks need refurb and have to pay 50p for 6 minute shower.

Liked Location, bar facilities and friendly staff.

Disliked I had a freezing cold shower (male first on right) and there was no shower gel. Our friends used other showers and they were all hot. I tried to have a shave and there was no hot water in the basins either. Very disappointing.

Liked Very handy as a base as we were dropping off our daughter at UWE. Nice a peaceful, with the exception of the train line which is relatively close; however, not close enough or busy enough to be a nuisance.

Liked Great location, lovely setting and a really good pub for food and drinks near by.

Disliked Toilet and shower facilities are totally inadequate. 50% of them were not working. The only toilet also doubles up as the shower.
