Don’t Bother, waste of money!

No em va agradar The chap who met us after I called him did not know we were coming. He said “the toilets and showers have not been cleaned” no sh*t Sherlock! The toilets and showers were filthy, the grass was at least 8-10 inches long and water coming out of the electric posts!
We paid £66 for 2 nights, and left after one. There was no point trying to speak to the chap as the whole place was minging. They have obviously not spent a penny on the place and had the audacity to charge £6 for a dog! Without doubt, the worst camp site I have ever visited!

No em va agradar The toilet and reception area needs modernising. All very dated. £41 per night did not seem like good value for money.

Del gerent: Thank you for your feedback, Unfortunately we cannot control how good or bad pubs/restaurants are, we know that modernisation to the facilities is required however they are clean and tidy. Lastly the price, you booked through Pitchup our price on our site is £33 which is what you paid, is there another site close you stayed at charging £41. Regards braids.

Del gerent: Sorry you didn’t enjoy your experience with us at the Welly!! BUT We don’t hide that where we are or that dogs aren’t allowed in the pub!!! That is in our description on pitch up. But we do state that they are more than welcome on site and in our beer garden!!! On the night you stayed we did have dogs in our beer garden because I do remember water bowls being taken to the tables! All the information is there for you to make an educated discussion on if the Welly is the place that meets your needs before you hit the click to book button! we don’t hide anything! No em va agradar Severe slope on most pitches, ours (pitch 1) was close to toilet and very loud hand blower.
Toilet and shower blocks need refurb and have to pay 50p for 6 minute shower.

Good pitches, but cold shower. John was very helpful and friendly.

No em va agradar I had a freezing cold shower (male first on right) and there was no shower gel. Our friends used other showers and they were all hot.
I tried to have a shave and there was no hot water in the basins either. Very disappointing.

Nice a peaceful, with the exception of the train line which is relatively close; however, not close enough or busy enough to be a nuisance.

No em va agradar Toilet and shower facilities are totally inadequate. 50% of them were not working. The only toilet also doubles up as the shower.
