Μου άρεσε Location to Gretna Green. However, not the best pubs/restaurants in close proximity.

Δεν μου άρεσε The toilet and reception area needs modernising. All very dated. £41 per night did not seem like good value for money.

Από τον διαχειριστή: Thank you for your feedback, Unfortunately we cannot control how good or bad pubs/restaurants are, we know that modernisation to the facilities is required however they are clean and tidy. Lastly the price, you booked through Pitchup our price on our site is £33 which is what you paid, is there another site close you stayed at charging £41. Regards braids.

Μου άρεσε Good flat pitches, good facilities lovely and clean.

Από τον διαχειριστή: Thank you for your review, Paul. We’re glad you enjoyed the tearoom and the view, and pleased that you would stay again. Balkenna is in a peaceful rural coastal setting, which many guests enjoy, although we understand it can feel isolated if you are looking for nearby shops or attractions. We hope to welcome you back.

Μου άρεσε Well kept basic site.

Δεν μου άρεσε In the middle of nowhere, and dogs not allowed in the only pub/place to eat.

Από τον διαχειριστή: Sorry you didn’t enjoy your experience with us at the Welly!! BUT We don’t hide that where we are or that dogs aren’t allowed in the pub!!! That is in our description on pitch up. But we do state that they are more than welcome on site and in our beer garden!!! On the night you stayed we did have dogs in our beer garden because I do remember water bowls being taken to the tables! All the information is there for you to make an educated discussion on if the Welly is the place that meets your needs before you hit the click to book button! we don’t hide anything! Just read before you book 👍 Happy travels Barrie

Μου άρεσε Location to beach.

Δεν μου άρεσε Severe slope on most pitches, ours (pitch 1) was close to toilet and very loud hand blower. Toilet and shower blocks need refurb and have to pay 50p for 6 minute shower.

Μου άρεσε Location, bar facilities and friendly staff.

Δεν μου άρεσε I had a freezing cold shower (male first on right) and there was no shower gel. Our friends used other showers and they were all hot. I tried to have a shave and there was no hot water in the basins either. Very disappointing.

Μου άρεσε Very handy as a base as we were dropping off our daughter at UWE. Nice a peaceful, with the exception of the train line which is relatively close; however, not close enough or busy enough to be a nuisance.

Μου άρεσε Great location, lovely setting and a really good pub for food and drinks near by.

Δεν μου άρεσε Toilet and shower facilities are totally inadequate. 50% of them were not working. The only toilet also doubles up as the shower.
