What customers say
This is a small, friendly campsite with superb sea views and memorable sunsets. Guests praised the clean facilities, helpful and welcoming staff, and the excellent on-site tea room, particularly for its food. Many found it a great stopover location. Downsides noted include noise from the adjacent busy road and occasional issues with pitch size or access. Some felt facilities, particularly washing-up areas, could be improved, though manager replies indicate ongoing enhancements. Most guests expressed a desire to return.

Liked The sea views from the pitches are superb. The sunset with a glass of wine in the tea shop gazebo is truly memorable. With friendly staff and good facilities this is a great stopover. The tea shop has a good meal menu and the home made pies are very tasty. There is little road noise, but we slept through it easily. We will definitely return.

Liked The cafe.
The sunsets.
I really liked the information text message prior to arrival including a map explaining campsite. It was a welcoming and nice little touch. Carolyn was lovely on arrival and gave us a tour of the place.
All the staff were friendly and welcoming. We will return for sure.
Disliked Pitch sizes.
The allocated spaces are very small and some slightly slanted. Much smaller than I’m used to but we did meet some lovely people and our stay was still great regardless.
Noise from road.
If you don’t like too much noise then the road is a busy one and the site is just off it. We enjoyed 2 nights but I couldn’t do longer.
