Liked What a great site. We had a lovely welcome form the owner and were told we could pitch our caravan anywhere we wanted in the non electric field. After some issues getting level we set up on a fantastic pitch with a great view. The showers were great, clean, tidy and very hot. We only had to queue once in our 10 night stay. We will definitely be staying here again

Liked Great site, close to everything we wanted to do and see. Friendly owner (Wayne) Secure site Great clean shower block Wayne does a run to the local Chinese Take away on a Saturday night and you can order your food by pitch number

Disliked Wayne needs to make customers aware that electric should be paid with cash before they are ready to leave. Slightly rule heavy on arrival

From the manager: Hello Thank you for your review Much appreciated When you first came to the site I try and keep everyone together when we explain the rules, Chinese, electric etc. So everyone was told about electric and are told in the beginning, you were told when I collected money for Chinese. Disliked As others have said road noise From A350 is quite loud.

Liked Lovely friendly welcome. Led to pitch by nice young man on a mini tractor who gave us loads of info. Nice level pitches with lots of space. Great base for travelling around area with lots to do.

Disliked Toilets very basic and not much room to get dressed after a shower in the gents. Toilet block along way from touring pitches.

Yes we know the toilet block is a walk away from the touring pitch’s we have put planning permission in for a new toilet block closer to these pitches so hopefully once that comes back we can get on with new toilet facilities.

Liked Great site, lovely views, pitches proximity to toilet blocks, swimming pool and sauna.

Liked A lovely site in the countryside. Very friendly owners, always checking if we needed anything. The site is clean and spacious and very well laid out, although we didn't use them, the fire pits filled with logs to rent are a great idea. The site is also in an ideal location for exploring Shropshire and Cheshire, with lots to see and do a short drive away.

Disliked Nothing to dislike except that we only booked 5 nights and should have stayed longer

Liked A great site with a choice of pitches. Very friendly owners who could not do enough for you, the cup of tea/coffee on arrival was very much appreciated. Nice clean toilet block. Nice central position for getting around the local area

Liked A great warm welcome from Amy, She showed us to our pitch and gave a good description of the site and where everything was, she then went on to give us a good idea of the local area and the best fish and chip shop in Cornwall. This is a fantastic site with great views and a lovely set up. The site is a great base to get all around Cornwall.

Liked This was a lovely site to stay at. We had a warm welcome and the owners made sure we were happy with our pitch before leaving us on it. It was quiet and relaxing and the touring pitches are very big. There is a separate field for seasonal pitches and another for tents. There is a large play area for children and they were emtertained by the ducks who came visiting three times a day.

Disliked Pitches in the first field are quite uneven and if you are not aware and equipped you may find it hard to get your caravan level.

Liked Very Clean site, extremely helpful owner with lots of useful local knowledge. The site is laid out nicely and although small, its perfectly formed. Great effort by the owner to set aside a field for the kids to play in and a lovely walk that joins Offahs Dyke trail in to Hay on Wye. Nice toilet block that is clean and even though the site was practically full at the end of our stay, we did not have to wait to use the showers at all. Would definitely recommend and will be going back.
