What customers say
This is a peaceful, well-maintained campsite with beautiful countryside views. Visitors frequently praise the immaculate toilet and shower facilities, spacious pitches, and friendly, helpful owners. The on-site shop and optional fire pits are also popular. Some reviewers mention the site can be muddy after rain, and a few experienced noise disturbances from other guests, though management addresses issues promptly.

Lovely site, well kept but better for long stays
Electric optional grass tent pitch
Liked It's a clean, well laid out site. Each tent pitch had an accessible electric hookup, tap and picnic bench. Toilets clean and good facilities offered. Very scenic setting.
Disliked Booked on basis allows BBQs in website filter section but then the raft of rules came through via email. Only site owner approved BBQs and really want you to get their own fire pits. Look very good, but adding £25 to a night stay isn't really practical. 40 mins walk to The Swan which is a very nice pub, but not alot else to walk to without setting off for the day. 9pm quiet definitely not enforced which we prefer but why say it. Got there at 2:30pm and had to use the pitches on a slope, not a problem for the night but get there early for long stays.

Electric optional grass tent pitch
Liked Very quiet, clean, lovely site. The added extra of having a picnic bench on every pitch is so helpful. Didnt meet the owners however the pre emails and notices around make you feel just at home. The kids loved the open spaces to play.
