What customers say
This campsite is praised for its excellent location, spacious and level pitches, and helpful staff. Facilities, particularly toilet and shower blocks, are often noted as needing improvement in cleanliness and maintenance, with some guests experiencing issues with water temperature and drainage. Despite these shortcomings, many visitors found the site to be family-friendly with plenty to do nearby, and would consider returning.

Liked I have stayed here so many times both in the pods and take my own tent. Showers are warm, shower block always clean and staff couldn't be better. Great location to access the city and right next to the water sports centre.
Disliked in the summer season it can be a bit expensive.

The heating is not adequate for the winter
Deluxe Arch 1 bedroom camping pod
Liked Good location and check in is easy
Disliked Despite having the heating on from the moment we arrived at the lodge and all night we were unable to get the lodge to a bearable temperature. It was freezing cold. We had booked for 2 nights but could not stay the second night we only just made it through the first. I think they should either close for winter or provide additional heating as this is simply not habitable at this temperature due to the heating being inadequate. Additionally the heating can only be put on for 4 hours at a time. We were unable to sleep due to the cold so could monitor it and turn it back on.
