What customers say
Spacious sites, close to National Water Sports Centre & Nottingham. Friendly staff & good amenities (showers/toilets) were praised. Some amenity blocks lacked cleanliness/maintenance (blocked toilets, poor drainage, outdated). Noise & shop hours were also issues for some.

Great campsite, more frequent cleaning of toilets and showers
Powered grass campsite
Liked Loved the campsite and location on park view. Access to washing machines and plenty of space for children to play. Also a short to activities.
Disliked The toilets were disgusting. We arrived on Friday and they were not clean. Which is a shame, as when have previously been here they were fine. Shop is over priced. They need to be cleaned more frequently.

Liked Space
Disliked When arrived had to phone to ask them to lift height barrier and got a very Snotty lady and so told to wait as she had people in the shop. I waited for 20 mintues for her to open the barrier and the was hold up of traffic behind us.. Once inside i went to check in to be told you have an email with your pitch on. There was no map giving or no one to show ypu where the pitch was you had to find it yourself. Tye map on the email does not blow up to see. It was very dirty. Was in the shower and the cleaner came in and sweep the floor and that was it still as dirty as when i went for my shower. Sinks was not cleaned. Toilets need changeing as old and full of limescale. The shower block water runs onto the path. It was ment to be quick hour from 10.30pm music and noise still going at 12.00am. I wouldnt stay again. i think they need to put money in into having the toilets and shower blocks done as they are pass saving. I dont know how one cleaner can clean and the toilets and shower blocks and need training how to clean. They need to put two staff on in the shop one to handle the shop and other to handle the bookings and give you a map. Think staff need training on how to greet people. We stay on the hardstaning pitch and there was no sign think there needs to be one. The put the park on but its not on the site its down the road.

Don’t go!!!
Powered grass campsite
Liked Only good thing about this stat was the water sports
Disliked Unfortunately the stay we had wasn’t great at all. Parties going on until 3am = no sleep. Toilets were not clean at all always smelt of urine. Showers were scolding hot so couldn’t shower at all.
There is no security throughout the night and the number they provide out of hours is useless.
We won’t be staying again.

Liked Great pitch sizes! Lots of open space in the middle for playing. Short walk to the national water centre.
Disliked The toilets were horrendous, I dont think they were cleaned the entire time we were there, sanitary bins over flowing in multiple toilets

Powered grass campsite
Liked The site was perfect for what we wanted as a group of friends with children, lots of space between pitches and the site kindly put our pitches next to each other as requested. There was lots of pre arrival information also.
Disliked The main toilet block wasn’t cleaned enough and the sanitary bins in the ladies were full and overflowing which wasn’t very nice to see
