Liked Pitches were a decent size,area was neat and tidy and fishing was good even if £7 a rod was expensive

Disliked The toilets were dated inside and me and the Mrs only had a luke warm shower so thermostat needs turning up

Liked Excellent laid back approach touring park,Ralph the site warden was friendly and helpful and the fishing was fantastic, toilets and showers were clean and plenty of space between pitches

Disliked Didn't rate the toilet and shower at all,looked ratted though in defence of the site its a fishery that does a bit of touring,I booked it thinking it was a touring site 1st and fishing a bonus.kids running round screaming at 11pm wasn't good either

From the manager: Thank you for your review. The site does have fishing lakes but it is also a touring caravan site, not one more than the other so we cater for all tastes. All guests sign to agree to the rules on arrival, we can only hope they abide by the 10pm rule, for those that do not there are wardens on site 24 hours, when we are told of any noise after this time we do go to make sure the noise is kept under control. Unfortunately if we are not told then we cannot do anything about it.

Liked Loved everything about the site,peaceful,relaxing,beautiful well kept gardens,loki loved the dog field and with public transport on the doorstep made life so much easier.toilet blocks were immaculate and staff were very friendly

Liked Very busy site with loads to do,walks along the river nene with our dog was great,fishing was ok.staff were polite and helpful

Disliked We had a super pitch that the concrete was broken,dirt and bricks and uneven next to it,water was shared with next pitch.toilets were swept and mopped but toilet seats weren't cleaned while we were here and showers barely got warm,also nowhere inside cubicle to put wash bag and clothes

We’re delighted you enjoyed the variety of facilities available, including our swimming pool, splash pool, park train, alpacas, Bunny Café, Tribe Den, Dino carts, and BMX there really is no stopping us when it comes to creating fun for all ages! We also have three beautiful lakes on park where guests are able to fish, along with a fantastic tackle shop just outside the park. Our lakes are home to a variety of fish, making it a great experience for both beginners and keen anglers alike. I have also passed on your feedback to our touring manager regarding the concerns raised around broken concrete, dirt and bricks, and uneven areas, as well as the condition of the shower block and toilets. Our teams follow a strict cleaning process, and I will be looking into this to ensure it is being followed correctly and consistently. It is important to us that all guests respect the facilities provided, and whilst we appreciate busy periods can have an impact, we do not expect areas such as shower blocks and toilets to be left in an unacceptable condition. Disliked Adults only yet kids were staying on there,toilets were a disgrace,one toilet seat was filthy,looked like it hadn't been cleaned for months,floor was flooded and filthy and cars were racing past our pitch at speed most of the evening

Liked Lovely family run site,showers were really nice and clean,short walk to the banks of Loch lomond,pitches were of a generous size,even lent me a ladder to do some repairs on motorhome

Liked Men's shower was really good and bathrooms were warm,though mrs said this wasn't the case in the womens bathroom

Disliked Booked site which said water on every pitch and this wasn't the case as from what I could see there wasn't a dedicated water on any pitch.also said bathrooms were immaculate but to us they were very tired and dated.cost of £30 per night was higher than most places we've stopped at,which were much better regarding facilities.

Liked Loved the openness of the place,lots of wildlife and we made the best of the walks despite the awful weather,toilets and showers were clean.

Disliked Not so much as a dislike but the advert needs to be updated as there were no wifi and no shop on site which the add said they were.Also we booked the site to do some fishing on the river and maybe the pools,we'll the river was unfishable due to floods and with the pools certain baits couldn't be used(the only bait we had).So maybe the fishing rules should be added aswell.oh also the pub was mentioned as close by which had been empty for quite some time.
