Liked Well looked after site. Perfect basic site but has everything you need.

Liked The vast space to pitch. Great to have so much space. The facilities are very new and well looked after, regular cleaning etc. Also good amount of toilet and shower facilites. Nice walk to the nearest Pub for lunch. Definitely adding to the list of sites to visit regularly.

Disliked In the showers, there could be a little more storage/shelf for belongings. Water pressure to the showers is extremely low when there are multiple people in the showers.

Liked Everything. The site is lovely. Well kept, tidy, very large pitches. Carrie was extremely helpful. The site felt secure with a coded entrance. The facilities are very clean and well maintained. Short walk to a pub with a lovely atmosphere and in the other direction a short walk to the canal.

Liked Perfect location. Easy direct routes to all the popular Coastal towns. The lodge had everything you needed. Lovely and clean. Everything provided including towels, and kitchen essentials, with little added touches of kids games etc. Nice to wake up to the cute sheep at the front of the lodge. The owners are very welcoming. We will definitely stay again and highly recommend. Thank you.

Liked Absolutely everything. Jake and the staff are so helpful and friendly. All facilities were spotless. Large pitches with plenty of room. Added bonus of the bar, with a selection of pop, snacks, sweets, beer, cider, spirits and gorgeous evening Pizzas that are fresh made onsite. Only a few miles from Forest of Dean (the reason for our stay) but also local bike tracks over the road which the husband and son loved. There is even a dishwasher on site, £1.50 and takes 4mins. (Didn't use but saw others use). Lovely hot showers. Hairdryer in the Ladies facilities. You are on an electric meter, you pay for what you use, so the electric facility only cost us 0.89p. That was to fully charge an E-Bike and a lot of kettle uses for hot water bottles etc. Allows fire and can buy wood from reception. Can't wait to book again for May.

Disliked If I had to comment something, then the shower heads are a little old with a very wide spray so taking a shower took a longer, but the water is lovely and hot so honestly makes no difference.

Liked Facilities very clean. Camp fires allowed which was the main reason we chose this site with the cold March weather. Great communication with the site. Self-check in by just pitching up. Great facilities. Well kept site. Close to lots of walks and Dyfi Bike Park which was why we stayed and the reason we are booking again for April. Great internet connect even without wi-fi.

Liked Very quiet well kept site with extremely clean facilities (the toilets always smelt freshly cleaned). Lovely fishing facilities. Apart from checking in, we didn't see any staff. The American style BBQ catering vans were an unexpected surprise. Lovely atmosphere and lovely staff. 5 minute walk to the local village, which had a couple of lovely pubs, shop, fish & chip shop.

Disliked The shop was not open once. We didn't need it but it is listed on pitch up to have a shop, this is a shed with a small shelf (you could see it through the window).

Liked Such a beautiful site. Well kept and maintained. Lovely and friendly on arrival. All shower, toilet and washing up facilities were clean and well equipped. Nice level pitches. Little well stocked shop. Food menu looked lovely. We were gutted it was a flying visit, we happened to book as it was the closest to Forest of Dean and we were there for an event weekend so checked in late Saturday and checked out very early Sunday so didn't get chance to enjoy. Already looking to book for July and make more use of the site.

Liked My partner and Son stayed and said the site was lovely. There was a large group of them and the kids loved the park. Partner said the facilities were good and clean. They stayed as it was local for them to ride at Cannock Bike Park.

Liked Perfect Stay at Wern Mill. This site is one of the cleanest and tidiest we have had the pleasure of staying at. We stayed with our TentBox roof tent so when we are set up its isn't easy for us to nip to the shop etc so the onsite shop (and bar) were an added bonus and handy. Well stocked with everything you need. The toilet & shower facilities were brilliant and in a nice warm building (even in the middle of the night) and extremely spacious. Lovely, friendly staff. Nice level pitches, which is handy when your in a tent on the roof of your van. Gorgeous scenic beach walk to New Quay. Roughly 40 minutes if the tide is in. The walk is well sign posted. Beautiful beach 10 minutes walk away. We caught the bus just outside the campsite to Aberystwyth. Buses are every hour. Brilliant Wi-Fi service (to look up walks, the weather and things to do etc).

Liked This site was not what we were expecting but a happy surprise, this is an extremely busy site, with a lot more pitches than the pictures show. If you are looking for a quiet site then I would not recommend at all, if you are looking for a site perfect for children then it is perfect. We we placed on the pitch next to the park, with a 6 year old this was perfect, playground noise is extremely loud but the site staff were strict with their site quiet times, 10pm on the dot staff attended the play park and all children were asked to leave.... silence, same in the mornings. Very well stocked shop, pizzas from the bar where lovely (also do other food). Everything responsibly priced. As 2 families that are into mountain biking, being so close to Haldon Forest was perfect.

Disliked The cleanliness of the main toilet block (near the bar). This site was fully booked and had a lot of people, more cleaning in the loos/showers is definitely needed, we were in one of the closest pitches to the toilet block but chose to use our own toilet facilities. Also surprised with the size of the site that there was no sanitary bins, the extremely small pedal bins are clearly not big enough. Rest of the site was lovely, well kept and clean.

Liked Simple site, facilities regularly cleaned, extremely friendly staff, the site was fully booked but not cramped and very spacious between pitches. Allowed fires and very cheap to hire. Walking distance to multiple beautiful coves / beaches.

Liked The site was very well looked after, extremely clean and had all the facilities you could need. The staff were very welcoming.

Disliked There are no water temperature adjusters in the showers and the water is hot, which is not a problem for adults but we only showered our Son once due to it being too hot. The showers only stay on for 4-5 seconds when pressing the water button so took a long time to get showered.
