Crystal Lakes covers approximately 12 acres of meadowland with small, mature fishing lakes, ideal for carp and coarse fishing. This secluded site was founded in 1993 and is strategically set between Cambridge and Huntingdon with easy access to the A14.
Facilities include spacious toilets, showers and hand basins, all supplied with free hot and cold water. Washing and drying machines are also available at a small charge. Children have full access to a recreational field.
The village of Fenstanton is a ten-minute walk away whilst the historic town of St Ives is a 15-minute drive away. Sporty guests can use the cycle track or the public footpath to explore the area. Fishing is available on site at a small daily charge.
There is also an on-site children's activity centre (entry charge applies).

However, where the pitch or accommodation occupancy allows it, you can make a booking for up to 30 adults and 30 children in one booking.
To book multiple pitches or accommodation, use the 'Special requests' box on the booking page to ask to be sited together. Complete the booking form for the first booking (you can add a password and save your card so that we remember your details). Then click "Make another booking like this" at the top of the confirmation page to make the next booking.

The village of Fenstanton is halfway between Cambridge and Huntingdon on the A14.
From the south: bypass Cambridge and take the A14 towards Huntingdon; leave the A14 8 miles further on at Fenstanton at Junction 27.
From the east: from the A14 bypass Cambridge and leave the A14 8 miles further on at Fenstanton.
From the west (Bedford) and from the south: head to the A1 and then turn onto the A428 towards Cambridge. Continue on the A14 towards Huntingdon, or follow the signs to St Ives on the B1040 and Fenstanton.
From the west (Coventry): From the M1 take the A14 to Fenstanton. The site is 8 miles south of Huntingdon.
From the north: leave the A1 approximately 7 miles south of Peterborough and turn off at sign for A14 and M11. Travel 11 miles to Fenstanton.
Fenstanton is well served with a butcher, two general stores, baker and newsagent, fresh garden produce and free range eggs, two hairdressers, an excellent fish and chip shop and four village pubs all serving food.
Cambridgeshire's rural landscapes combine wide river valleys, water meadows and quiet country lanes with hills and open fenland views. There are over 600 miles of public footpaths to help visitors explore the countryside as well as the RSPB reserve at Fen Drayton Lakes.
