Liked Large pitch , well maintained , useful having shop & bistro , on the bus route

Disliked Stayed in adults only pitch which we were pleased about however a camper across from us played loud music from a big boom box speaker all day until around 8pm , couldn’t relax at all - toilets/showers were untidy and very hot

Liked Peaceful site right by the river , very friendly owners , lovely spotlessly clean facilities with spacious shower rooms , immaculately kept grounds

Liked Super clean amenities with lovely hot showers . Very useful to have a shop and inn / restaurant onsite. Stunning views over Loch just a few steps across the road to a rocky pebble beach with great opportunities for bird / wildlife watching. Great pitches with hard standing and grass all areas very well maintained, didn’t want to leave

Liked Stunning views all around this site , although busy most people adhered to the 11pm quiet rule !! Plenty of toilets & showers , large washing up area with lots of hot water

Liked The campsite is in a beautiful location with stunning views of the mountains , nearby you can do the Torrent Walk which is well worth it . The staff at Fronalchen were all helpful and very friendly and welcoming , we were lucky enough to stay an extra night which was lovely as the weather was fabulous. The campsite is very clean. tidy and well cared for , fresh water is available in a couple of locations and there are portable toilets (which are frequently cleaned ) dotted around the field. As you come onto the campsite there is a toilet block , 2 showers and a washing up area , there are logs & kindling available to buy for fires, would definitely recommend the campsite and also love to return at some point.

Disliked There was nothing we disliked about Fronalchen but if we had to say something we found it difficult to locate the chemical waste area , intact didn’t end up finding it at all
