Fully-serviced pitches

  • Peaceful award-winning park in the grounds of a 16th-century farmhouse
  • Wildlife haven covering 12 acres, three miles from the coast
  • Woodland walk, immaculate amenities and spacious pitches
Well now, this is pretty perfect. You'll be able to spy plenty of reasons why guests return to award-winning, peaceful and popular Plas Farm Caravan Park year after year: it’s in a wildlife haven covering 12 acres of viewful Conwy countryside, and is kept impeccably clean by owners John and Sian. And it comes with easy access to some of Wales’s top attractions – the beaches and coastal walks of north Wales are three miles away and the coastal A55 road is within easy reach to get to Chester, the Isle of Anglesey and Snowdonia. A pub within walking distance and takeaway deliveries straight to one’s pitch probably help too… John and Sian opened Plas Farm as a campsite in the grounds of a Grade II-listed 16th-century farmhouse and keep it to stellar standards, with spotless toilets, showers with heaps of hot water and roomy pitches laid out to give maximum privacy. There are acres of room for the kids to run around and the farm also has its own woodland walk for dog walks. Betws yn Rhos and its shop are a short walk away to pick up supplies; this is also where you’ll find the local pub.

Liked Not the cheapest stop on this trip but good value for what you get. Well laid out site with all the facilities you need except perhaps black waste drive over. We did use the gray waste drive over in the yard . Booked 1 night, stayed for 2 should possibly have stayed 3 but it's a little bit of a drive to get down to the towns and coast. Will use again.

Disliked Minor problems with payments on our Irish plastic and could have saved a few quid booking the second night through pitch up but that's it.

Take your bucket and spade to Wales' largest coastal town, the Victorian seaside town of Llandudno (25 minutes’ drive), to see Wales' longest pier, as well as the view from the cable car that goes up the Great Orme.
