Kids, be calm: the Barcelona region has the Tibidabo and PortAventura amusement parks to roam around too.
Many campsites in Barcelona lie along or have easy access to the region’s 100km of Mediterranean coast and Costa regions like the Costa del Garraf, and towns including Calella, Canet, the family seaside resort of Castelldefels, and Sitges, Cataluña’s gay capital. Inland, many other Barcelona sites are in or very near to one of the region’s natural parks: Cadi-Moixero, Montserrat, Sant Llorenç del Munt i l'Obac and the Montseny – or take a trip around towns like Vic and the wine areas of Villafranca del Penedes and Sant Sadurni d’Anoia.
