What customers say
This campsite offers stunning views of the South Downs and sea, with a peaceful and spacious environment. Visitors consistently praise the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the cleanliness of the facilities. The location is ideal for walking and close to Newhaven Ferry Port. While the facilities are described as basic, they are generally well-maintained. Some guests noted occasional issues with water pressure and wind due to the exposed hilltop location. Manager replies indicate ongoing efforts to address water pressure concerns and improve the site.

So as you can imagine it…
Non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked So as you can imagine it is very windy at the top but put yourself in the right place and around 19:00 the wind disappears around the corner. Great location for walkers with some beautiful views. The site itself is as basic as you want it which I like but it does have toilets and a shower plus fresh drinking water. Be warned if you tuck yourself down the end it does feel like a trek to the toilets especially first thing in the morning😬
Disliked I didn’t really dislike it as I’m a big animal person but pheasants and crows live in the trees so expect an interesting early wake up call
