Brilliant location - 30 minute walk to the beach with great pubs. We caught a bus into Brighton which was very easy.
Clean toilets, showers and washing up facilities.
Lots of well sized pitches with a lovely view and was very peaceful.
Lots of wildlife nearby, spent lots of time watching the animals just outside the campsite.
Felt like it was a reasonable price for the size of the campsite and how much was around.
Had a quick reply of the owners of the campsite regarding ETA and where to pitch.

Peaceful location with some good walks…

Me gustó Peaceful location with some good walks right from the site. Behind the site and inland is Telscombe Tye which is a very beautiful downland area.
The facilities are simple but very clean and cared for. The friendly and helpful owners are living on site and so any problems (I didn't have any) are going to be resolved quickly.
The views towards the sea are lovely if you look towards the west (a 1970s housing development is in the distance the other way).
Some of the pitches are on sloping ground and definitely not ideal for tents. I had a flat pitch so all good. The hilltop location can be windy, which was great for minimising flying insects and also keeping my tent condensation free. I had no problems using a tent designed for challenging conditions but large family tents might struggle in the wind.

it's not always windy up here, but we do have it on the website that we are on top of the Downs and are open to the elements - which helps people to make an informed decision as to visit or not, being on the Downs not all pitches are level but they are not steep and to my knowledge none of our tent campers have had any problems.

A lovely location for sea views and walking

Me gustó The location was fantastic for walking, had the weather been nice there would have been a sea view from the site.
The toilets were immaculate and the shower was large and very similar to what you would have at home.
No me gustó You might need levelling blocks as quite a few pitches are on a slant.
Other than shower and toilet there are no facilities.

we do pride ourselves on keeping the facilities clean, i would also like to add that we do have pot washing facilities and also an Elsan point for black chemical toilet waste disposal.
