Superb location. Clean, spacious and quiet. Outstanding value.
Unpowered grass tent, campervan or trailer tent site
Liked Wonderful site on the top of the Downs overlooking the sea. Spacious pitches , mostly flat, 360°views , super clean showers with lots of hot water. Footpaths to walk to the sea in about 45 minutes. Sooo quiet.
Paul and Hayley are excellent hosts.
We will definately come here again.

Very pleasant location with clean facilities and good sized, plots
Unpowered grass tent, campervan or trailer tent site
Liked Spacious plots, the view, the clean facilities
Disliked Not a problem on this occasion but more toilets/showers with more water pressure would be good.
From the manager: thank you for your feedback, yes the views of the Downs and the Sea is a big plus with some very nice walks in the area.
we do have a clear honest policy that does state on our website that the water pressure can sometimes drop low, However we have made some small improvements and are planning further improvements for the pressure in the very near future.
we welcome any feedback good or indifferent to help us improve our site.
thankyou
Wonderfull campsite with decent facilities
Unpowered grass tent, campervan or trailer tent site
Liked Campsite is on a high ground with wonderful views.
Friendly staff and water pressure and warmth of the showers was not bad as some reviews suggested earlier. Quite area with not being not too far from south downs way. Really enjoyed the stay with a group of my friends.
Disliked The earth can be too hard to pin your pegs on some areas. One of our tent was nearly blown away by strong wind. Be careful if you are going to pitch on the higher part and if you have a large tent.
From the manager: thank you for your feedback, which is valuable to us.
glad you enjoyed your stay, there's not many places you get the view of the downs and the sea.
yes the ground is hard in places and you do need good tent pegs, but if you put the tent pegs in at a 45 degree angle it is a lot easier with better hold.
many thanks

Disliked There was a group of 60 plus DOE campers for the night I was there. They were well behaved and courteous but the limited facilities were over stretched for such a large group. The organisers of the DOE group should have either organised smaller groups or used larger sites with larger facilities.
From the manager: thank you for your feedback which is important to us.
they are lovely views of the Downs and the Sea.
sorry you were disappointed with the presence of DOE, i have checked our books and we have only two booking from DOE which was one group of 36 and another group at an earlier date of 22, neither of which had 60 .
however we will look into improvements on this issue, many thanks
best regards
