Disliked On site pub only takes cash, and doesn’t serve food as stated on line, We were put close to the barrier so traffic was quite busy. Campsite is close to a main road. No wifi

Liked Lovely welcome, spacious pitches, clean toilets and shower cubicles, plenty of trails to follow, great for kids, good onsite shop at reception

Liked Lovely campsite with a warm welcome. The shower/toilet blocks are very clean and modern. There’s a bar on site which serves food. 10 minute walk into the village and there’s a lovely pub.

Liked Nice campsite, with clean toilets and shower blocks, very welcoming on arrival, there’s a cafe and bar on site and a local pub 10 mins walk away, there’s a bus stop outside the pub which takes you into Whitby or robin hoods bay.

Liked Nice campsite with good size pitches, there’s a large dog walking area over the road, five minute walk to the local pub and shop. Clean toilets and showers.

Liked Clean toilet and shower block, 15 mins walk to beach, shops and pubs. Nice gentleman showed us to our pitch and told us where things were.

Disliked Stayed on a hard standing pitch, the gravel was very big pieces which was uncomfortable to walk on. There was a dog near us that barked most of the day which was annoying. £5 for WiFi

Liked What a lovely little gem of a place, was met with a lovely lady who showed us our options on pitches. The toilet and shower area was kept very clean. Only a 10 min walk to the leeming bar train station, coop and local pub which do lovely meals. Will definitely be back

Liked Very welcoming on check in Lovely place, nice large quiet pitch, toilet blocks very clean, cafe at reception which we didn’t go in but was always busy when we passed. There was a bus stop near the bluebell pub which took us into York. The cricket club on site was a nice place to have a few beers, we’d definitely go back.

Liked Beautiful site, very clean and peaceful. Facilities we’re very clean, beautiful walks along the coast.

Liked Nice weekend stay with good size pitch, clean facilities, Good flat ground, Farm shop and cafe are a must, the breakfasts are very nice, nice friendly staff especially Colin. Only a 10 minute walk into Pocklington town where there’s a nice selection of shops and pubs. We’ll definitely go back.

Liked Nice few days away, clean and tidy place, good on site shop and lovely fish and chip shop

Disliked We pitched on a hard standing site and bent loads of pegs for our awning, the pitch wasn’t very big either

Liked Very spacious plot. Lovely walk along the river Ouse, , would highly recommend a pub meal (very nice).

Disliked Even though the toilets were clean, there was a couple without locks on the doors, no hand sanitiser x

From the manager: thank you for your review, just to confirm 1 toilet door lock was broken over the weekend, which has been repaired this morning. it wasn't reported by anyone???? or it would of been repaired earlier, also the soap in the dispensers is anti-bacterial.
