York House Caravan park is set in 7 acres of beautiful North Yorkshire Moors Countryside yet only a short drive to the coast. We have 59 touring pitches with electric, 41 Privately owned statics and a large camping area with electric and non electric pitches. With being a family managed park, you are guaranteed a friendly welcome and clean well run site.

Here at York House Caravan Park you will find everything to make your holiday enjoyable and a holiday you will remember. There are plenty of activities to keep the active family busy, but it is also the ideal place for gentle strolls and to enjoy peace and quiet whilst relaxing. Our customers keep on coming back.

Local attractions

Hawsker is a small village in beautiful countryside having many footpaths and cycle ways. There is a local pub, providing good food and beer, families are welcome. On site we also have a cafe and licensed restaurant. We are situated less than half a mile from the old railway line, which makes easy cycling / walking to Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay, Ravenscar and Scarborough. Whitby is less than 6 minutes in a car or on the bus.

Terms and conditions

Please read the park terms and conditions below and the terms and conditions.

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures
Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
Bookings must not be for more than 21 consecutive nights.
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.

Group bookings of 4 or more adults are not permitted (couples and immediate family members excepted).
No hen/stag parties permitted via
Single-sex bookings of 2 or more people (couples and immediate family members excepted) are not permitted via

Units should not be left unoccupied unless previously agreed with the management. Please speak to reception when the need arises, a fee may be charged for unsupervised units.
You must follow the management directives when pitching your tent/unit and related equipment.

Reception is open from 8AM to 8PM between 01/03 and 31/10.
Reception is open from 9AM to 6PM between 01/11 and 01/03.

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.
Open fires are prohibited.

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.
No cars/motorbikes by the pitch/unit. All cars must be parked in the designated area.
Only one car is to be parked by the pitch. Extra vehicles must be parked in the designated area.
The car is only included in the rate if you are travelling with a touring caravan or a tent. If you wish to bring a car along with your motorhome/campervan please select the extra.

Visitors’ cars are not permitted on site.
