What customers say
This well-kept campsite is ideally located for visiting Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay by public transport or scenic walks. Guests loved the friendly, helpful staff, clean facilities, and great on-site cafe/bar. Spacious pitches are available, though some noted a need for leveling ramps. Many guests found the electricity surcharge a drawback.

I’d definitely stay here again. The location was great.
Power optional gravel and cement/asphalt RV campsite
Liked It was a lovely camp site and the staff were lovely. The facilities weren’t as bad as I was expecting with previous reviews.
The water was hot for the showers and washing the pots.
Disliked The push tap in the shower didn’t last long at all and it was a chore to shower.
On our last night and morning the chef wasn’t there so we had pizza, which was okay but on the morning they only offered toasties. And they weren’t cracking.

Power optional gravel and cement/asphalt RV campsite
Liked Lovely clean site, great facilities and friendly helpful staff.
Disliked You have to constantly press the button in the shower which makes it very difficult to wash your hair.
I'm all for saving water but having to constantly press it was really difficult with arthritis and difficult to wash properly with one hand.

York house family camping pod
Liked Clean, organised campsite. Friendly people, this is both people running and working on site and the other inmates.
Great location.
My little girl loved the play areas.
Disliked The pod itself although clean had really overwhelming stench of air freshener.
The showers were scorching hot- manageable for an adult but far too hot to use for all child. Had to resort to boiling up water and using washing up bowl for little one as no privacy in sink area of shower block.
