What customers say
This is a well-maintained, clean site with spacious, level pitches. Guests consistently praise the friendly and helpful staff, particularly Alan and Hazel. Facilities, including the shower block, are generally described as immaculate. The on-site bar (Sean's Bar) is a popular addition, though it operates on a cash-only basis. Some guests noted a lack of local amenities within walking distance and occasional issues with Wi-Fi availability. The site is predominantly adults-only, with a dog walking field available. Manager comments indicate ongoing improvements, including heated shower blocks and replaced taps.

Liked Lovely site with great hosts. You were not all on top of each other, and there was plenty of space between yourselves and other campers. I would definitely recommend this site to others.
Disliked MPerhaps washbasins and separate toilet facilities could be considered. It felt a little uncomfortable brushing my teeth when others were using the toilet next to me, especially when all of the showers were in use.

Definitely will come back!!!!!
Electric grass tent pitch
Liked How clean the whole sight was!!
Disliked Not a dislike but the pitch was a little sloping so had to get use to that if it was flat it would be perfect but I don’t think it could be helped oh and no WiFi at all that’s a let down. Would be much better with wifi as signal is near on 0.

Nice little break
Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Friendly welcome, Nice little camp site, clean toilet and shower block
Disliked On site pub only takes cash, and doesn’t serve food as stated on line,
We were put close to the barrier so traffic was quite busy. Campsite is close to a main road. No wifi

Electric grass tent pitch
Liked Easy to find and a decent size pitch for our tent.
Pot wash room was handy.
Sean’s bar across the road was handy.
Disliked The site is next to a road so some traffic noise to be expected.
Downside for us was that there are only 2 toilets and 2 showers in each of the male and females. For the size of the site there should be more facilities.
Not the sites fault but the tents either side of us were noisy from 6.30am each morning.
Not really close to anywhere without having to drive.
We booked for 3 nights but only stayed 2 in the end, we needed a good nights sleep!

Disliked Could do with a small shop on the site and it’s a pity you have to walk so far to the nearest bus stop . But not sites fault.
