  • Coastal site in Llanddulas, just off the A55 North Wales Expressway
  • A 15-minute drive from Llandudno and 25 minutes from Snowdonia
  • Stunning views; a short walk from the Wales Coast Path
If you’re off on a jaunt to the north Wales coast, max out your sea-viewing times by settling among the smart facilities at Bron-Y-Wendon Holiday Park in the little village of Llanddulas. If this place were any closer to the Irish Sea it’d be getting its toes wet: there are views out over the waves and towards Llandudno’s Great Orme from all around the park, and a rocky beach with access to the scenic coastal path is just a short stroll away. Getting in, out and around is straightforward, however you choose to travel. The sandy beaches of Colwyn Bay and Rhos on Sea are 20 to 30 minutes away by bus; there's also access to Llandudno by bus from the village for more car-free days out. The site is just off the A55 North Wales Expressway, and a mere couple of minutes’ walk from the Wales Coast Path for bike rides and walks (with a furry pal by your side should you wish, as dogs are welcome on site). Over in the village centre (10 minutes’ walk away) are a pub, restaurant, garage and chip shop (essential when the seaside is within walking distance…) Facilities on site include a launderette and a wifi service, along with a play area to keep the kids entertained while the grownups put their feet up. Days out around these parts can be as leisurely or as active as you like. Within a 15-minute drive you can be playing a round of golf or pootling around Bodnant Garden; drive a little further to tackle Zip World's adrenaline-pumping offerings.

Liked Close to bus routes sea view nice walk along promenade

Disliked Noise from main road and train track very uneven pitch needed out rigars on our level system

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Thank you for your review and for staying with us in February.

We're really pleased to hear you enjoyed the sea views, the promenade walks, and our convenient location close to the bus routes. It’s great to know you would return and recommend us to friends, that means a lot.

We’re sorry to hear that the road and train noise affected your stay, but we appreciate your feedback. We also understand that some of our gravel pitches may require additional levelling depending on individual setups, and we always recommend bringing suitable levelling equipment.

We hope to welcome you back again soon for another clean and comfortable stay.

Electric gravel motorhome pitch (no awning)

Liked Owners were very welcoming, clean and spacious site. Amazing views .

Disliked Road can be noisy at night

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Thank you very much for your lovely review and for choosing to stay with us in February.

We’re so pleased you found the site clean and spacious and that you enjoyed the amazing views. It’s also great to hear that you found us welcoming, we really do appreciate that feedback.

We understand that the road noise can be an issue especially more so depending on weather conditions, such as direction of wind and rain and can see you were on one of our pitches located close to the main road. We always do our best to allocate pitches to suit guest preferences where possible, so please do let us know when booking if you would prefer a pitch further from the roadside.

We hope to welcome you back to Bron Y Wendon again soon.

Fully-serviced gravel touring caravan pitch (no awning)

Liked Amenities are really good, clean showers and loos and reall warm (big hero points there), vert pleasant staff, and helpfull ...lovely coastal views too..

Disliked I'm not a fan of being guided into my allocated pitch, (not everyone is a pro at this especially me) my partner is capable of guiding me into it if needed, fair play to the staff for understanding this when told its nerve-wracking enough practising..

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a lovely review and for choosing to stay with us again in February.

We’re really pleased to hear you had another great experience and that you enjoyed the amenities, warm shower facilities (always a bonus at this time of year!), and the coastal views. Your kind words about the team being pleasant and helpful are very much appreciated — we’ll be sure to pass that on.

Thank you as well for your feedback regarding being guided onto your pitch. We completely understand that manoeuvring can feel nerve-wracking, and our intention is always to help make arrival as smooth and stress-free as possible. That said, we’re more than happy to step back if guests prefer to guide themselves or have their partner assist — just as you did. We want everyone to feel comfortable from the moment they arrive.

It’s great to know you’d recommend us and plan to return — we look forward to welcoming you both back again soon.

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave a review following your February stay with us.

We’re really pleased to hear that you were happy with the size of your pitch and that you had plenty of space for your camper, especially when staying as a family.

Thank you as well for your private feedback regarding the shower and toilet facilities. We’re genuinely sorry to read this, as maintaining clean and well-presented facilities is extremely important to us. Your comments certainly don’t reflect the standards we aim to provide. Had we been made aware during your stay, our team would have addressed the issues immediately.

We hope you might consider giving us another opportunity in the future so we can provide you with a much better experience.

Local attractions

Bit of gentle activity? There are of course some cracking coast path walks just up the road, and there’s a golf course five minutes’ drive away in Abergele. Bodnant Garden (15 minutes’ drive) is an excellent place for a wander among gorgeous floral displays, and it just happens to be home to the Welsh Food Centre as well for stocking up on tasty treats while you’re there. For creature-viewing outings, take a wander around the Welsh Mountain Zoo (10 minutes). If you’d rather try to catch glimpses of passing birds and wildlife out in the open, keep eyes peeled on walks in Snowdonia National Park; Betws-y-Coed (35 minutes) is a good place to start walks. If you’re up for local thrills, swoosh down the slides at SC2 waterpark (15 minutes) or shoot along the fastest zipline in the world at Zip World Penrhyn Quarry (35 minutes).
