Liked: This was our second stay at piccadilly and we had a wonderful time. Just the perfect amount of activity for the children (7 & 9) - not too much & not too quiet. The recent referb of the shower blocks is stunning & love the addition of family/disabled shower and toilet. Felt like a spa experience! Immaculate camping park from the grounds to the toilets & and washing up facilities. Wardens were on hand for any questions & very friendly. Already looking at the diary to see when we can return. Handy to have washing machine & tumble dryer facilities also.

Liked: Flat pitches, good clean facilities, walkable to Lacock and friendly service. Site is well maintained and tidy.
Disliked: Wifi charged, some pitches a little close - but not to badly. Long walk round to washing up sinks - needs a cut through. A little road noise, but not to noticeable.

Liked: How quiet the site was. The shared facilities were great and clean. The dog field was also lovely.
Disliked: The pitche boundary was not well marked so difficult to see where exactly our pitch was.

Non-electric grass tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch
Liked: Very easy to get to, only a few miles south of Chippenham. Site is very level, so no "hilly" pitches to grapple with (the pitches are also a very generous size). Playground for younger children, two toilet blocks (both spotless) and plenty of showers. Wardens very friendly. Site set off main road, so don't have too much noise at night (people do seem to respect the 'quiet time' rules, very little noise after 10pm, helped by fact that most campers are in motorhomes or caravans, so noise is "contained"). 10-15 min stroll into Lacock where there are multiple pubs for good quality drinks and food. If you like car boot sales, there is one next to the site on Sundays which seems very popular. Lacock Abbey, The Courts and Great Chalfield Manor (all National Trust) are very close by. Great campsite, really recommend.
Disliked: Nothing!
