Me gustó Spacious site, excellent facilities kept really clean. Ideal location for visiting National Trust Lacock, a short walk away - care needed crossing a busy main road but good visibility.
Coffee truck on site in the morning, excellent coffee to start the day!
Clear instructions before arrival and visit from owner in the evening to check we were settled in OK.

No me gustó Would have liked a little more room around the Men's wash basins as nowhere to put wash bags or hang a towel, and very cramped when three people were trying to use the three basins at once. Also got a bit steamy when showers in use and windows hadn't been opened.

Me gustó Excellent site with excellent facilities short third of mile walk into picturesque Laycock village largely owned by national trust with 4 pubs and several cafes, laycock abbey ticket expensive, campsite pitch is preallocated to you to drive onto at arrival would thoughly recommend and will revisit again .

Just to clarify, we do have a designated grey water waste disposal point on site; however, it is not a drive-over facility. We appreciate your feedback and hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay with us.

Me gustó The bathrooms were well presented - clean and fresh flowers were a nice touch. The washing up space was clean and spacious with plenty of hot water. Good information was given before our arrival so we knew exactly where to pitch and our host checked everything was ok later when we were settled.
The site was within easy walking distance of Lacock which was a lovely village to explore, and a lovely walk along the river. The site was also very quiet at night, despite being close to a main road

No me gustó Our pitch wasn't really suitable for a campervan with a awning as the awning touched the hedge so we couldn't open the door, the site map showed quite a large green next to the hard standing which made it look ideal.
They advertised a coffee van but there wasn't one.

Regarding the coffee van, Rachel, our coffee lady, had taken her coffee trailer away for a couple of days as she was committed to an existing event. We’re sorry it wasn’t available during your stay and for any disappointment this caused.

Me gustó Very clean toilets & shower block,grounds are well maintained & staff are very nice & helpfull.

No me gustó Electrics tripped out quite a few times!
Showers could do with better seats & a few shelves to put your shampoo & bits on also mirrors could have better lighting,toilets could do with some hooks on the doors.

Me gustó What a fantastic camp site stayed 5 nights very clean pitch shower and toilets were 5 star.even the washing up room with the washing machines in were super clean.very friendly easy to check in.even the wardens was very nice.
