Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.- The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).
- No cars/motorbikes by the pitch/unit. All cars must be parked in the designated area.
- Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.
- At least one of the party members must be aged 25 or over.
- A cable measuring at least 25 metres is needed for the electric hook-ups.
- Minimum spacing of 3 metres between pitches.
- Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the site are unlit.
- The charging of electric vehicles is not permitted on site.
- £5 per day of electricity is included. Additional usage is metered at £0.35 per kWh and can be purchased from the office on site.

Liked: Fantastic place to stay very friendly even more when you don't want the hassle of arcades etc but want to spend time with your family The staff was very helpful as our electric didn't work and was given one to borrow Toilets showers was very clean and the hole park was clean it had everything we needs to make our stay comfortable

Liked: Nice friendly site with a pub a walkable distance away (15-20 mins). The helpful owners managed to lend me some ladders to get on the roof of the MH to get inside as we'd locked ourselves out!

Liked: The campground was very clean and quiet. Lots of open space for the children to play and a nice woodland walk to the edge of the park. The showers and toilets were also clean and plentiful, and I noticed there were laundry facilities as well (though we didn't use them).
Disliked: The toilets were quite a way away from the far pitches where we were located. The campground could have also benefitted from a small tuck shop or something.

Liked: Very welcoming, very clean and tidy facilities with flat pitches.
Disliked: Always surprised when a site doesn’t have a freezer for ice blocks especially when the nearest big decent shop is in Maidstone.

From the manager: Thank you for leaving us a lovely review. We are sorry that you found the pitches to be quite close together. Unfortunately, your stay coincided with the Kent County Show, our busiest time of the year and as always during this week, we were fully booked and extremely busy. As you may have noticed, there were markings on the ground on your pitch. This is where Sharon and myself measure and mark out the required legal amount of space and firebreaks per pitch and we re-do this every very busy period. We would love to see you again sometime, perhaps when we are not so busy.

From the manager: Thank you very much for taking the time to leave us a review. We are pleased that you found most things to your liking but disappointed that you didn't find our showers to be "pristine". If you read back on our previous reviews you will see that this isn't a common problem but we do understand that occasionally the shower drains do get blocked. This is always just a build up of hair at busy times and as soon as it is reported, the problem is sorted immediately. Our cleaner does check the drains daily and the toilets and showers are cleaned religiously every day. They are then checked at regular intervals throughout the day. When we are very busy, they are done more than once a day. We hope that this does not put you off from coming back. The Oak View Team.
