A little slice of paradise making memories
Betty bell tent
Liked We stayed in the bell tent with 2 of our grandkids (7 and 9) and we all loved it! The beds were very comfortable. David and Gill have provided all you need for a great adventure. Even tea and coffee and sugar! What a wonderful place. We loved every second of being there. Safe, beautiful and clean. Amazing. Can’t wait to return

We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay in Betty, our bell tent which is a new to our campsite this year.
We liked the idea of offering a family or group of friends the option of camping but without the hassle of bringing all of the equipment. It was a bit of an experiment but Betty has proved to be a really popular camping option this year.
It was so lovely to meet you all and it was so nice to see you enjoying great times together.
Thank you for staying with us and we hope to see you again in the future.

We are a small campsite located in beautiful Northumbrian countryside and our guests tell us that it's ideal for camping with children as it's safe, there's lots space to play and so close to Bolam Lake Country Park, Wallington and Belsay Hall.
Thank you for staying with us, enjoy your camping adventures and we hope to see you again in the future.
Perfect for a short stay in a wonderful location.
Non-electric grass campervan pitch
Liked We had a 1 night stay on the way heading further north. It was a great, basic site in a wonderful location. Across the road from the country park and with great views all around. A lovely walk right from the door! Good communications from David, whom we met shortly after we arrived. He even helped carry one of the heavier picnic tables to our pitch. Basic but clean portaloos and a great spot for a short stay. Would happily return.
