Bolam Lake Camping Paddock

Syntes om Great location, friendly owners, lots of picnic benches and well kept. Pitches were well-marked and not packed in. Fresh water available, along with toilets and a washing area.

Syntes ikke om Totally my fault for choosing a pitch right next to a field full of horses, but I hadn't appreciated that they don't seem to sleep much and spent most of the night munching grass and snorting right outside my tent.

Apologies that you were disturbed by the horses in the adjacent fields - they seem to like their camper neighbours and often pop over to say hello. We'll have strong words with them about disturbing our guests during quiet time ! :)

Syntes om I booked the stay for my Autistic daughter and her dad, they stayed in the caravan. Overall they both really enjoyed their stay, my daughter would move there if she could, she loved the horses in the back field and the lake being right next door. A very friendly and welcoming site, they will be back. My husband accidentally took your ice packs home so we need to pop through and drop them off lol

Bolam Lake is beautiful and a great place for an early morning/evening walk. The horses seem to enjoy meeting their camper neighbours and often pop over to say hello.

Syntes om What an amazing campsite, I really like how the kids can just play on the campsite n not have to worry about them. It was really clean as well and the owners are really nice! The kids absolutely loved the horses, the fire pit was a lovely touch and was needed In the night time! It was so peaceful as well, and the lake just across the road is nice too We absolutely loved coming here and we will definitely be back! 10 out of 10

We are pleased that you had a comfortable stay and we are located so close to Bolam Lake Country Park.

Our caravan is located in a secluded part of one of the camping fields with it's own gazebo and seating area but we are sorry if you would have liked it to be more private.

We are an off grid campsite and can offer mains water, washing facilities and very clean portable toilets but we are always exploring ways to improve what we offer and we are certainly researching ways to offer shower facilities.

Our campsite is ideal for short breaks and guests who opt to stay longer usually take advantage of the excellent facilities at Ponteland or Morpeth leisure centres.

Syntes om We stayed in the bell tent with 2 of our grandkids (7 and 9) and we all loved it! The beds were very comfortable. David and Gill have provided all you need for a great adventure. Even tea and coffee and sugar! What a wonderful place. We loved every second of being there. Safe, beautiful and clean. Amazing. Can’t wait to return

We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay in Betty, our bell tent which is a new to our campsite this year.

We liked the idea of offering a family or group of friends the option of camping but without the hassle of bringing all of the equipment. It was a bit of an experiment but Betty has proved to be a really popular camping option this year.

It was so lovely to meet you all and it was so nice to see you enjoying great times together.

Syntes om We have just came back from a 2 night stay. The owners are lovely people, very friendly and helpful. The portaloo’s were clean and tidy as well as the washing up station. We would defiantly come back and recommend to friends too! Thank you!
