Em va agradar Well what can I say we have stayed in betty bell tent for the first time me my partner daughter and 2 granddaughters we have had a brilliant time all i can say is jill and david are the most friendliest people I have met and there is everything in the betty bell tent what you need amazing!! Cant wait till come back.

Betty, our bell tent is new this year and we hoped that it would be a great place for family and friends to enjoy camping without the hassle of setting up a tent and having to pack the large amounts of equipment needed for a camping trip.

Em va agradar A delightful site opposite Bolam Lake. We had a warm welcome from the owner who checked we had everything we needed and offered us a fire pit. It wasn't busy, mid week. The toilets were clean and perfect for our needs. We knew there wasn't a shower, but we didn't need one for the time we were there. There is a good washing up station with liquid and cloths provided but no hot water. The best thing was the horses in the next field. We spent a happy hour watching them play together as a little group - galloping around the fields and enjoying themselves. Such a delight! We walked around the lake in the evening which was very pleasant.

The horses are all very individual characters and have retired from careers in racing, show jumping, eventing etc. They come to live with us in the fields surrounding the campsite and live happily together but seem to enjoy sharing their home with their camper neighbours :)

Em va agradar Lovely campsite, went with our 2 grandchildren and they had a whale of a time. It is small enough to be able to see them wherever they are but big enough to give a sense of freedom.
The site itself is immaculate with level pitches, each with a picnic bench and plenty of room. Toilets and washing up areas cleaned twice daily and well supplied. Jill and David are the perfect combination of attentive, friendly and welcoming. Really quiet at night so we all slept well.
It really is a perfect site, highly recommend. Thank you both so much.

Em va agradar What a gem of a site. It is so peaceful with the best views over open fields being grazed on by several horses.

The hosts David and Jill were lovely, couldn't do enough so much so that they even dropped of some butter, which I'd forgotten! for our baked potatoes that we cooked in foil on the fire pit, amazing.

The site is spotless and the toilets are genuinely cleaned twice daily and are also clean as a whistle.

Lush place we will be back, thanks again. 😃

We are a small campsite, offering off grid camping but it's very important to us that guests have a relaxing, comfortable stay and that they have everything they need.

We are always on hand and happy to help if we can - butter, camping equipment, charging phones etc :)

Thanks To David and his lovely son Jo I loved how friendly you both were and love your beautiful site we have never stayed at a site twice but came straight home and hopefully we are going to book for 2 nights for next weekend.. Have a dog so having Bolam lake across the road is a big seller for us, thank you see you soon 😁
