Bolam Lake Country Park is beautiful and a great place to walk and spot wildlife.

As a Wanderlust site we are able to offer fire pit hire as a safe option if you enjoy a campfire :)

A aimé Everything about this experience was honestly amazing. David and Jill are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. The site was clean, quiet, tranquil and in a beautiful spot. I would recommend and urge anyone to just go and unplug from the busy lives and try this place it’s truly bliss!

A aimé Location was beautiful, peaceful, tidy and well-maintained. We had great communication with the owners who seemed like lovely, kind people. The freedom to choose pitches was fanrastic. It was our first roof tent experience and we can only hope other sites will be as brilliant as this one. Watching the horses play was a bonus.

A aimé First solo camp experience to this lovely, clean and well maintained site with brilliant sized pitches. Toilets, washing up facilities and water provision in perfect working order too.

Met both David and Jill, very friendly and approachable with reassurances given they were nearby if needed. Would love to stay again.

We hope that you were comfortable and had everything you needed - the idea when we introduced the caravan stay was to offer a hassle free stay in the countryside. Guests just needed to pack sleeping bags, food, drink and a gas stove with the knowledge that everything else was provided.

We are a Wanderlust campsite so we offer simple camping in beautiful Northumbrian countryside but it's important that our guests are comfortable and have very clean facilities on the campsite.

A aimé Such a lovely little campsite. I was a bit concerned about the pitch space on arrival as it was a busy Saturday and I've 2 slightly boisterous doggys but once settled it was actually perfectly spacious and we were lucky to have a view of the horses. I stayed with my daughter in our van. Both David and Jill were so welcoming and made me feel at ease straight away. It was lovely to talk with them both. Really tidy site, nice short grass too. Also great having bolam lake opposite to walk the dogs straight from the site. We only stayed one night and it was perfect for our needs

Our weekend stays are very popular but it's so important to us that guests have spacious pitches and all of the facilities they need to have a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Bolam Lake Country Park is great for walking dogs and spotting wildlife too.
