What customers say
This peaceful riverside campsite offers beautiful countryside views and direct access to Offa's Dyke. Visitors praise the clean, well-maintained facilities, including showers, toilets, and communal areas with fridges and kettles. The site is a short, pleasant walk into Knighton, offering a relaxed atmosphere and a choice of pitches. While a nearby railway line is present, trains are infrequent and not considered disruptive by most. Friendly owners and a handy on-site cafe add to the positive experience.

Excellent site with clean facilities and friendly staff.
Non-electric grass tent, touring caravan or trailer tent pitch
Liked We liked the friendly owners/staff, the new and clean bathrooms, excellent location within walking distance to Knighton, the on site coffee kiosk (Offa's Treats), lots of hot water and good phone coverage.
Disliked Not dislikes but things to consider. We were at the end of the far field (we chose the pitch) so it was a little bit of a walk to the toilet block. A portaloo or two scattered around would make that middle of the night call of nature a little quicker. This site is right next to a railway which was not particularly busy over the bank holiday weekend but there were a couple of early trains on weekdays.

Lovely spot with good facilities.
Non-electric grass tent, touring caravan or trailer tent pitch
Liked Lovely location, very convenient for a pleasant stroll into town. Shower and toilet facilities to a good standard and very handy to have a communal fridge. Also, the addition of the Offa’s Treat van with its tea/coffee, ice-cream and panini on site was very handy.

Non-electric grass tent, touring caravan or trailer tent pitch
Liked Such a great campsite. It is in beautiful countryside and we were right next to the river, allowing for all day long paddling.
The campsite facilities were clean, unfussy and all you needed. The addition of kettles and a fridge and freezer were a really nice touch.

Non-electric grass motorhome pitch
Liked This site is very peaceful, even with the train line running by - there's only a handful of trains a day. There's loads of great walks straight from the site. The little onsite cafe serves great snacks, ice creams and hot drinks. We liked that we could choose to pitch wherever we fancied, and went into the large field by the river. Knighton has everything you need, including a selection of cafes, pubs and shops, but most shops are closed Mondays and Tuesdays. We'll be back for sure!
Disliked The facilities could do with a little TLC, and it would be useful to have a water tap in the big field so its not such a walk with heavy water bottles, but you get what you pay for!

Non-electric grass motorhome pitch
Liked Greeting us as soon as we arrived on site. Clean toilets and 3 showers, with hot water, are well appreciated. Free to take your green pitch wherever you like. Lot of details added to the communal area: fridge , kettle, sink for washing up, local info. Lit a fire is possible, or rent à bike!

Liked I stayed here for one night, with my dog. Our first time camping and it was way better than expected, beautiful walks along the river and the hill, the host so nice and kind.
There is nothing I did not like, there was plenty of space for everybody, granted it was Friday perhaps it’s slightly busier Saturdays but overall a great experience. Facilities were also good and clean. Loved the lights on the bridge as well nice touch.
Disliked A small bridge over the river on the other side to make the toilets even closer for the bigger part of land would make this even better but regardless it is a great place to camp.
