Panpwnton Farm is a lovely, spacious campsite with a beautiful running river flowing beneath a small bridge. It was incredibly relaxing to sit by the river, listening to gospel music and watching the water pass by. The site has a peaceful atmosphere and is clearly well maintained.

The facilities include showers and toilets for men, women and unisex users, all housed within the same building. There are also some thoughtful extras, including complimentary fresh eggs, as well as a microwave and a fridge/freezer for guests to use if they're happy to store their food there.

One thing I overlooked when booking was the nearby railway line. For some reason, I assumed it was no longer in use. It didn't bother me because I pitched well away from it and can sleep through almost anything, but if you're a light sleeper, it's worth considering where you pitch.

Overall, I had a very enjoyable stay and would happily return. I'd definitely recommend Panpwnton Farm to anyone looking for a peaceful campsite with a beautiful riverside setting.

The mixed shower and toilet facilities weren't really for me as a solo female traveller, and I felt a little uneasy using the showers early in the morning. The layout consists of an open communal area with toilets on one side and three large shower cubicles with benches on the other. While the shower cubicles themselves provide privacy, the shared entrance and open layout weren't something I personally felt comfortable with. That's purely my preference rather than a criticism of the campsite, and others may feel completely at ease with the arrangement.

If you're visiting with children, I'd recommend keeping a close eye on them, particularly around the river, bridge and the shared facilities, just as you should at any campsite. The site is lovely, well cared for and appears to be well managed, but sensible supervision is important.

Tyckte om Great setting and convenient for Knighton town centre and the Offa’s Dyke path. Coffee and ice cream van very welcome and friendly staff. Relaxed site. Facilities clean

Tyckte om Roxy was super friendly, warm and welcoming, the showers are hot plenty of space to change. There are facilities for charging, freezer packs, and a fridge. The location is perfect,
Right on the offas dyke path so easy access there, pubs and shops are a short walk away. Very clean and a nice hut for coffee and bacon sandwiches if you don't fancy cooking.

Tyckte om Beautiful location surrounded by stunning hills. It has a river to paddle in and a train line to watch the trains go by. A nice 15 min walk along the river into the small town.Good short grass and soft soil so easy to pitch tent.The toilets and showers are smart, well stocked and kept clean, but there are only 3 (plus a urinal) which did cause a long queue in the morning / evening. The little kitchen area is great with a fridge and freezer, a kettle and toaster, but there are only 2 washing-up sinks , which again meant a long queue at times. Also to note that there is no water in the larger field (over the river), so remember to fill up when you arrive as it's a long walk back to the stand pipe. This is a fabulous site when it's quiet, the owners are lovely and obviously work hard, but there are just not enough facilities for the amount of people here at the start of the school holidays.

Tyckte om Perfect pitch by the river... fabulous for our dog in the hot weather☀️. Great showers and communal facilities. The Offa's Dyke footpath goes through the campsite, so v easy to access.
Walking distance to Knighton... v convenient for shops and eating out.

Tyckte om Perfect.site for going on a long walk and then relaxing afterwards.
Wonderful large field and you can choose where to pitch, so you will not feel crowded. Lots of space in the middle for kids to play and a small beach by the river for cooling off in the water.

Quiet and relaxed in the evening and you can watch the swallows swooping down over.the field.

The walks are straight off the site.amd from the top of the hill you will get spectacular views. Walk along the river into town is only 10 minutes with plenty of places to eat once you're there.

Facilities are good and showers were hot... important after a long trek.

Tyckte inte om Nothing. Just a note to those with campervans. The tap is near reception, quite a way from the field. Make sure you put water in the van before pitching up....otherwise you're arms will be getting a work out going back and forth.
