Beautiful evening
Beautiful witham river our pod and touring field are on the river bank
Hardstanding and grass pitches
New tour field upgrade is all finished and looking amazing - 19 hard-standing pitches

  • Scenic park on the river Witham, 10 minutes' drive from Tattershall
  • A 35-minute drive from Lincoln and 15 from Tattershall Farm Park
  • Playground, river fishing, waterside walks and pub-restaurant on site
What a splendid Lincolnshire location this is – with easy access to the pitches on tarmac roads, dog-friendly Riverview Caravan Park sits on the banks of the River Witham. You’re on holiday, so you’re justified in settling down by the water for lengthy periods with a book and/or picnic. Keep that view in sight by heading out for a waterside walk or launching your own paddleboard or kayak from the boat jetty too. Keen to go fishing? The site has a mile of fishing along the river, just 20 metres from the pitches – it’s good for tench, carp and bream. Keen to stay active? Lucky then that there’s a gym so you can fit in a good workout. Families can also amuse themselves at the playground and indoor pool (open during high season). If you are plane fans, RAF Conningsby and its World War II museum are 15 minutes’ drive away. Fighter jets and the occasional Lancaster fly overhead, so it can get a bit noisy (especially during the week), but regard it as your own personal air show and enjoy the sights. When it comes to food, the recently updated pub and restaurant has a beer garden overlooking the river. Every Friday night is happy hour between 5pm–7pm, and there are food offers on Saturday evenings as well as karaoke and bingo in the entertainment lounge. On Sundays, there’s a full carvery from 12pm until late. Local town Tattershall is less than 10 minutes away by car, and Lincoln city centre around 35 minutes.

What customers say

This well-priced site offers a friendly, welcoming atmosphere with a riverside location and views of RAF Coningsby. Pods are well-equipped and clean, and facilities, including the bar and toilets, are generally well-maintained and cleaned frequently. Guests appreciate the helpful staff, good value, and peaceful surroundings. While some minor maintenance issues and occasional noise from aircraft have been noted, the site is considered a great base for exploring and many visitors plan to return.

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked Lovely site Phil & Staff are Fab right near the river for me to go paddle boarding not far from Woodhall spa , or Horncastle to visit yeah really enjoyed it, & will visit again. The pods look amazing

Disliked Showers not amazing held up by zip ties & press button on the water was realy slow I showered in my own van one day, in my opinion the Elsan point needs a hose to rinse out your toilet, the dishwashing facilities are right next to the elsan point

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Thanks fir yoyr lovely review

Re the wast unit
It has a flush on it big silver button xx

Re shower yes we understand the issue think so body pulled it off

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked Great camp site, good size pitches, excellent owner, felt very welcome from the start and all staff was brilliant!

RAF planes flying over during the day was great to see.

Onsite bar with food served, good steak meal and evening entertainment, great camp site for our first Touring caravan holiday!

We will be returning!!

Disliked Only feedback we have was the chemical waste could do with a hose to clean up with, but we used water bottles and refilled to clean with, so no issue, just would help.

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Hi guys thanks fir yoyr amazing review so happy yo see you had a good time you guys did so well fir your first outing

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked Good level pitches, nice scenery along the river. Quiet, peaceful and the manager Phil was friendly and gave us a bottle of juice as I had forgotten to bring it and there is no shops nearby. Lovely to see the old war planes flying over and all the wildlife along the riverside.

Disliked This site is located in a beautiful spot but with a few upgrades it could be so much better. Only 2 showers in the ladies amenities and the paper towel holders did not get filled once in the three days we stayed, went to the gym next to the pool on second morning to find most of the equipment broken, tried to have a meal in the club house waiting 45minutes after asking if we could order to be told the chef had 20 takeaway meals to do first so there would be a wait as only 1 chef who was cooking and also waiting on. No shop on site or close by to top up on milk, bread etc.Drinks expensive at the bar. No hose at the elsan point.

From the manager: Hello thank you for review we take the very seriously

I can apolagize for the 45 muinet wait for your amazing Argentinian sirloin steak
£14.95
But as it was bank holiday and a large family descended on the bar just be fir your self
But I see you enjoyed playing pool in our new sport area .
The bottle squash I drove 5 miles to the nearest shop just to get it for you

I very sorry my godly powers could not move the holiday park closer to the shops as we are in the middle of the beautiful Lincolnshire contryside

If I would have known you were part of the toilet paper police
I.think we git through 150 rolls this week end
People love to take them as a momento

But serous campers bring there own

I very sorry our beer prices are not working mans or witherspoon prices
But 5 pounds for a pint and 6.50 fir a double gin tonic is not to bad

The complaint about have only 2 showers for the ladies . Well that's a first

There only 14 hard standing pitches

People work realy hard over every week end to.make our guest have a loverly time and as you can see with the other amazing review 10. Out 10s
And pitch voting us 2nd best carivan park out of 380 othere parks in Lincolnshire

We must be doing somthing right

You never mentioned any thing of the positives

Like the family of otters just behind your pitch
The amazing country walks
The amazing food
Brilliant river view team who.loojed after you.
And the inexpensive cost of £35 pounds fir a hard standing pitch over bank holiday week end

I wish you well Karen and Kevin

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked Good sized pitches, grass poor in places due to previous seasonal not lifting fooring.
Lovely welcome from seasonals in the tavern
Had Sunday dinner which was lovely. By the river and saw plenty of deer. Swans ducks and geese, heron but non of the elusive otters

Disliked Repairs needed in the ladies showers. One of the cubicles was broken
Lack of water points

Local attractions

Having viewed your own bit of the river, it’s likely that you’ll be enticed into getting out for a walk – especially when you learn that there are a couple of riverside pubs nearby. There’s more strolling to be done in Tattershall Lakes Country Park (five minutes’ drive), plus the chance of watery activity at Just Wake wakeboarding centre (10 minutes). Take off to Tattershall Castle (10 minutes’ drive) – a textbook version with a moat and 15th-century tower to potter around. Just outside town is Tattershall Farm Park (15 minutes), where egg collecting, sheep shearing and hanging out with hairy Highland cows are likely to meet with approval from youngsters (and probably their parents too…). A day out in Lincoln (35 minutes) must surely be on the list – it’s got a real slice of history, being home to one of the four original copies of the Magna Carta. You’ll feel like you’ve stepped back in time if you catch a film at Kinema in the Woods (15 minutes) too: the flicks have been running since 1922 and there’s still a resident organist to provide the tunes.
