Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.- Group bookings of 3 or more units (e.g. tent, touring caravan, motorhome or accommodation hire) travelling together are not permitted via Pitchup.com.
- Group bookings of 6 or more adults are not permitted (couples and immediate family members excepted).
- Single-sex bookings of 6 or more people (couples and immediate family members excepted) are not permitted via Pitchup.com.
- No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
- Bookings must not be for more than 14 consecutive nights.
- Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.
- A cable measuring at least 15 metres is needed for the electric hook-ups.
- Units longer than 10 metres are not allowed.
- Minimum spacing of 2 metres between pitches.
- Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the site are unlit.
- Swimming in the lake is not allowed.
- There is no reception on-site: on arrival please contact the number provided on your booking confirmation.
- Fires, barbecues and/or firepits will not be permitted in dry, windy and/or hot weather conditions.
- Bookings for tent must not be for more than 7 consecutive nights.
- The charging of electric vehicles is not permitted on site.
- Due to open water, farm machinery and out of bounds areas on site, children must be supervised at all times. 10kWh of electricity per night is included: any usage beyond this is metered on site at £0.60 per kWh and can be purchased onsite via the helpline. The Guest Helpline is only intended to support visitors during their stay and is manned between 7am and 7pm (except in an emergency or by prior arrangement).

Liked: Thw wholw Campsite was Great, clean and well kept. The pond areas and dog exercise area was great. All facilities were nice and clean also.

Liked: Only an overnight localish stop for us as testing a new awning and bed for the wee one. Lovely quiet fairly basic campsite, but much better than pop up field. Wee one liked the baby ducks and our husky liked the dog fields. M5 and road closures meant we we arrived later than we would have liked. Relatively quiet site despite not being too far from the road. Will be back again to do further exploring when we have more time...

Pitches were nice size and the site is quite picturesque.

Liked: Very clean & modern facilities. Loads of space & large pitches. Picturesque site with lovely views. Good value.
Disliked: Nothing - but would suggest some separate bins for recycling & a drive over drain for motorhome grey water disposal.

From the manager: Thank you for lovely comments. Not sure if you missed it but do have recycling facilities just to the left of the general waste bin. It is well used by our visitors, which is good as the law is changing to require much greater levels of recycling for all business and their visitors by next year :) We have a new sewer disposal point this year which only required a short bit of hose to dispose of grey waste.

Liked: The location was great - lots of the forest of dean in easy reach. Pitches were well spaced. Toilets and showers always clean. We had dogs and it had good areas for exercise / walks on the campsite. Very pretty lake.

Liked: Wonderful setting. Lakes, wooded walks and fabulous dog runs. The site was really well kept and the toilets / showers were pristine. I also liked that the site was immediately of the main road ( easy access) but was still quiet and peaceful. Very friendly too
