What customers say
This large, family-friendly campsite set on a working farm offers stunning Peak District views and direct access to Lathkill Dale walks. Visitors praised the spacious, unassigned pitches, friendly owners, and generally clean facilities, including new shower blocks. On-site food vans and a small shop were popular additions. While some noted the distance to facilities and occasional noise from other campers, the overall experience is highly recommended for its relaxed atmosphere and value.

A lovely family friendly site, clean facilities and very helpful staff
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked The campsite is large so there is plenty of space to park a caravan or pitch a tent.
It is a family friendly site with well behaved dogs and children and campers are asked to respect the quiet time from 11.00pm so it is quiet at night. The owners are very friendly and helpful so it was a very good experience.
Disliked It is not a dislike but an area with mirrors and electric sockets would enable campers to brush teeth, blow dry their hair and apply make up more easily etc.
The showers are wet rooms only and do not have electric sockets. As the shop develops some basic equipment and an extended range of food staples would be great.

Brilliant location
Electric gravel and hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Beautiful scenery, very large area brilliant walks, friendly staff. Good showers Very good checking times and brilliant check out time. Local town close by.
Disliked Narrow entrance past reception, hardstanding pitches quite close together, lack of bins around the site, rubbish ( empty pizza box and dirty underwear) left lying outside pizza hut for our complete stay. Can be quite a walk to the skip.
