What customers say
This popular campsite boasts stunning countryside views and direct access to Lathkill Dale walks. Visitors consistently praise the spacious pitches, clean and modern facilities (especially the new toilet and shower blocks), and the friendly, helpful owners. On-site food vans are a hit. While most experiences are positive, some mention noise from large groups during busy periods and occasional queues for facilities, though improvements are ongoing.

Great little campsite!
Electric gravel and hardstanding touring pitch
Liked We really loved the site. The communal (toilets, showers and kitchen) areas were clean and never busy). The shop offered all the essentials and delicious pots of ice cream.
There were also 3 food and drink trailers offering a nice variety if you didn’t want to cook.
Friendly staff and you can’t beat the Peak District for a great location for walking!
Nice and quiet, felt very peaceful and easy to relax.
Lots of room for kids to play and cycle round, including trees and tree swings.
Disliked Nothing comes to mind

Non-electric grass touring pitch
Liked All I can say is wow! Our kids are 3 and 5 and wanted to have a night's stay to see how they felt. The site is incredibly clean, and well kept. The facilities are spotless and the food is great! The kids made friends and had a fun time on the rope swings. We loved it so much, we have booked to come again next month 🥰

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked On arrival greeted by friendly and helpful staff.
The campsite itself is very well maintained. The grass is neatly cut, and the pitches are spacious enough to give campers privacy. There are clean toilet and shower facilities. Fresh drinking water is available, and there are washing-up areas for dishes. Both adults and children loved the site and we would return.
Disliked Initially difficult to fine the bins and no obvious promoting of recycling on the site.
But otherwise no problems
