What customers say
This large site has grand views & Lathkill Dale access. Owners are sound. Toilets/showers are grand, mostly clean. People love the chill vibe, pitch choice & food. Can get busy/noisy at weekends, water pressure dips sometimes. Mostly, it's class, folks want back.

Liked Toilets and showers were very clean, we had a young baby with us so using the sinks to help wash the bottles properly was very helpful! Lovely views and felt safe and comfortable.

Liked Facilities, big site, unrestricted pitches, location, dark skies, cleanliness
Disliked Noise. Very very noisy. Quiet time is from 11am and it finally went quiet by 3am. Not just people with their music low and chatting either it was like camping at a festival with the music at times. Didn’t sleep a wink. Left after one night because of this sadly. Time and a place for that volume…

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Great facilities, lovely views if you're in the right field, food trucks at the weekends in the summer.
Disliked No ban on single sex groups eg stags, hens etc, and no curfew/quiet time so can be quite noisy till late, especially at the weekends

Loved the place & the views & will definitely be going back
Non-electric grass touring pitch
Liked Loved it here, the views are amazing with the sunsets & sunrises. The walks are really good too. We did travel about abit & to come home to a lovely clean campsite that’s well looked after make the experience wonderful. Had food vans on site 3 nights which were lovely.
Owner/Staff very friendly & always helpful. They have an indoor kitchen which had a coffee machine & this was a great touch especially for when we arrived & left.
There was a lot of people onsite for the weekend & lots of people having fun but it didn’t disturb us as you could pitch up where ever you wanted with no restrictions which we loved. After a few days we moved to a different field & it felt like a different holiday as you had different views & was just lovely.
You can hire fire pits & they are really lovely to have the full camping experience. We stayed 5 nights & didn’t have any disturbances in the nights. It was my first time at this site but my sisters second & we will definitely be going back
Disliked This isn’t a dislike more like a suggestion. There’s only mirrors in the woman’s toilets over the sinks so there lots of people that stand in front of the sinks putting contacts in doing makeup/hair & there’s no room for if you just want to wash your hands.
Maybe put a few mirrors up with shelf’s in front & a couple of plugs somewhere so you can dry your hair & people can put there makeup bags on a shelf. But really not a moan or a dislike.
