What customers say
Great views, direct access to Lathkill Dale. Guests love the roomy, flexible spots and welcoming hosts. New, clean restrooms and showers are a hit, with extra food/drink vendors. Mostly quiet, but some groups made noise at peak times. A few noted pitch-to-facility distance & water pressure quirks, though fixes are underway. Highly recommended for a peaceful country getaway.

Fantastic site, amazing facilities
Primitive gravel and cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Beautiful site with fantastic facilities. Fantastic location, and the facilities on site are impeccably clean and fresh. Food and drink provision for evening meals and breakfast (we stayed on a Saturday night) were excellent, and the setting is picturesque.

Primitive grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Helpful staff. Clean modern toilets/showers. Plenty of space - but we were there on a weekday. From many comments, I would stay well clear on weekends!
Disliked WiFi was strong very near to the shower block but non-existent away from there. With mobile signal very weak, you really ought to install wifi extender points to all fields.
We chose non-electric because to add electric was £14 a night - exorbitant!

Liked Great location for visiting the area. Walking to the village was lovely along the canal.
Disliked Pitches can be a little uneven, so bring your levelling ramps.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Lovely quiet spot. Clean and spacious shower & toilet facilities. Love the coffee machine 😁 in the morning. The catering ‘vans’ are cute but I didn’t try them out as only open at weekends.
Fab walk to monyash straight from the campsite.

Very lovely stay, we even extended our stay seamlessly!
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Lots of space to choose from.
Showers and toilets were extremely clean.
Amenities in the kitchen hen were great, had everything we needed. Especially liked that the electricity could be used at all times.
Disliked The shower space could do with a bench / seat. It would be very difficult for a person with mobility struggles. Sort of balancing act when trying to dry / get dressed.
Would be handy to have physical map or directions of the trail around Lathkill.
We thought communication could have maybe been better. We travelled just after the government announcement of no BBQs so thought this could maybe have been communicated with gusts via text or email stating we guests could and couldn’t use.
